Hello, I have a 4 year old sony WEGA tv. The screen went black a couple days ago and the Lamp light came on. I order the Sony XL 2100U lamp (per the TV instructions). I pulled the old lamp out and it was blown (shatter in the lamp and there was black residue around the lamp plug).
So I follow the instructions and the TV will not come back on. I even do not get the LED to blink appropriately to tell me if the lamp door is on correctly or not. Please help

Note: The LED is supposed to be blinking once I replace the lamp door (1 once if I got it correct, 3 times if incorrect, 4 times a problem). Anyhoo, no blinking. Help.
Your projector bulb burned out, easy to replace yourself

Go back over the instructions and make sure that you did everything the way you were supposed to have.
Did you touch the glass part of the lamp at all? Are you sure that no glass or other sediment is prohibiting the lamp from fitting exactly into place?
