I keep trying to upload a project on Power producer 2 gold and it freezes at 70% each time i try. what can i do

seem USB device (unstated what it is) is bad and shorts out the power pins.5vdc
guess at USB thumb drive

having same problem with Mpeg files have no sound when played in power producer gold. I notice that SW Synth, CD Audio and PC Speaker is always muted when capturing from Camcorder camera. Any suggestions. Also no sound when played with media player.

try right clicking on the power producer gold 2 install file and click properties , then click on the compatability tab then select run in compatability mode for windows xp sp3.

That will allow you to install it , if it runs or not i am not sure, but worth a try.

If you right click on the shortcut file on your desktop pp gold 2 you can also set that for windows xp sp3 compatability too

This is the best solution for your problem as a 40 year experience with wires etc. Go to the source of your cable signal connector . Open it and clean the terminals with emery paper , sand the end of the cable shiny clean from corrosion , get a new barrel connectors with gold terminals if possible lengthen the ends of the cable , insert and tighten good, use thick rg-16 or rg 40 cable with good insulation ends crimped professionally with a crimpier or buy ready made , not from dollar store. Get a gold plated professional splitter if you need one or two , it will cost about 15 or more each . Make the cable runs as short as possible, using the thick good cables. If needed get a signal magnifier. From radio shack or the source etc. Connect them good and tight . Ground the splitters . Problem solved , you will get crystal clear channel 2 to 7 including 3 and 4 . Isolate the TV cable from other cables and power wires. Vitally

Considering that Power Producer 2 Gold has been replaced by CyberLink's Power Producer 5, your best chance would be to see if someone on Craigslist might have it and will send it to you. As for getting it tonight, you'd have to have them send it via a courier service such as FedEx.
