We just bought a used TV model number: KP-53S70.

We just bought a used TV model number: KP-53S70. After the hour ride home, we got it all hooked up and now it won't turn on. Is there something we are doing wrong? Does it need to warm up? It was working just fine prior to the hour trip in the back of a pickup.

It is pretty clear something was jarred loose during the move; these are pretty delicate devices. You should NOT try to repair this yourself. These types of televisions can have LETHAL voltages inside for WEEKS after they are unplugged.

Hi,it sounds like you lamp went bad.If your tv is between 2-4 yrs it will be the lamp that needs replacement,The red indicator is indicating there's an issue with the lamp.Try this websites discount-merchant or, discounttvlamps, They carry the original brands.

Hi!! have you tried checking the main plug for it, as well as removing the cables at the back? chances are there are loose wires on it, if you only had it for two months then you still have the warranty for the product call sony's technical support
