Not sure what a crosswind is, but normal oil pressure for most gasoline engines is 40 - 60psi depending on RPM and temp.

Does it have any electronic switches on shifter ,if so check fuses

No, but what I would do is buy a used computer or borrow one from somebody to see if that is the problem before you buy one from the dealer. they are expensive, used about $100. A couple of things would cause the car to stop, one, dead battery, bad alternator, but the light should have come on, the battery light would have come on too. But the car will not run without them. The injectors, I don't know that much about diesels, but, I do have 3 Isuzu's.

its a cable i believe its in the back of the dash that connects to the transmission sensor sometimes they break or need to be tightned and lubed
