Do u want to resolve the f-13 fault code ON HOTPOINT WD860 Ultima
Fix the fault . It is a tricky job but the heater thermostat switch has tripped as it senses something burning. Probably a little bit of fluff on the heater element inside the heater unit.. There are 2 switches on top of this heater unit. One where the 2 blue wires go on the top left of the 3rd picture and the other which has a tall black wire connector on shown in the middle of the 3rd picture. Remove that connector and undo the holding screw . You can then reset the switch. The switch is a small circular switch hidden beneather the connector on the photos. This thermostat switch has a yellow. red dot ontop of it. If you use a small pin or needle and press into that dot you will hear it tick back into place. you have reset the switch now. You will probably need to clean the inside of the heater element unit to get rid of the fluff particles or it will keep switching off. To take this apart you will need a set of Star screwdrivers. Its a bit tricky but you will be able to undo the star screws and take them all out. I will add some photos to show you the unit apart. You can see the build up of fluff on the photos i have added from my hotpoint WD860 heater unit. This is a tricky job and takes about an hour due to the screw being awkward to take off and put on again but mine hasnt faulted for 2 years since sorting it out. You can buy a new Thermostat switch which is about 10 pounds sterling from Hotpoint or other spares stores. my hotpoint ultima washer dryer has stopped drying - hotpoint-ultima-washer-dryer-stopped-04t3bj0jgktmuqmnt3s3ejb0-2-0.jpg

Error code F-05 showing on my Hotpoint ultima

Error code F02 indicates pressure switch jammed on full.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose from bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose on to pump and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.
Pleas rate my solution.
Thankyou.

HOTPOINT WD71 ERROR E 30

Hello john walker24
Welcome

You said, you have a Hotpoint Ultima 1200 Washier dryer model WD71s and keep getting an E30 error code after it fills with water.
Any idea what the problem is?

This is what Hotpoint tells us!
E30 = A motor drive problem has occurred.Try running the programme again.
If the problem persists call for a Service Engineer.

BUT, I will tell you to unplug the appliance for 5 minutes and see if this resets the system and solves the error code.
Sometimes it is only a glitch and you can reboot and be alright if there is really no mechanical failure!!
Let me know how it goes?
Huuum,
Please remember to leave a rating!
Thank You.
Waiting for your response!

WD440 programme m

This sounds like a faulty pcb and/or inlet valve. see links for prices.

meatballs77 - If you have warranty (the machine is less than 1 year old which yours is) or paid for extended cover then call hotpoint to replace... Hotpoint should be able to fix this - this should be free. call 0870 4422 510

Rememer parts are free up to five years - but there is a £90 callout fee after the first year.(unless you extend the full warranty)

Hotpoint ultima 1200 washer/dryer

Have suffered the same problem. Suggest you remove back (after turning off electrical supply) and look at the water outlet pipe - you may have a sock or two in this - remember to reattach outlet and secure in position.
