SOURCE: No hot air from my tumble dryer
Hi.
You do not state whether it is a condenser or vented dryer.
the most obvious reasn for no heat is element and/or stats..
The only way to confirm which it is-- is to meter them out with a multi meter..
If you have one then set it on the ohms range and test the components for continuity, you should get full scale deflection if they are o/k.
You must disconnect the wires to the components, or you will get a false reading, and needless to say, have the m/c unplugged.
If all test o/k then the problem could be with the timer and or control unit, or the heater relay if it has one.Unknown to me as I do not know your model number.
If it is a condenser dryer, make sure all filters are clear, air intake and outlet vents clear, water container empty .
Plz rate my solution
Thanks

Check the thermal disc with an OHM meter. One will be next to the heat element (high limit) and another on the air exhaust area which is the low limit.
