My creda reverseair tumberledryer won';t work. my

Hi

If you can hear the motor running and have also checked the belt tension and they are O.K., then the only thing I can think of is the Motor pulley, where the belt sits on.

Check that out and make sure it is not loose on the motor shaft, so that the motor turns but the pulley slips.

Regards
Ash

A Creda condenser dryer TCR2, it went off won't work at all now

There is a lint filter inside the front of the m/c.
A filter at the bottom left of m/c,undo catches to release it, remove it and wash out under running water to thoroghly cleanit.
.Remove water container at top left front , and empty.
Make sure air intake and air out lets are clear, one at front right, and one at rear of m/c.

Service manual fora creda tcr2 tumble dryer

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I'm so sorry but this forum does not, nor is in a position to, supply any type of manual (service or otherwise), parts list, installation instructions, electrical or schematic diagrams direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
Also members on Fixya are not 'affiliated' to, or representative of, any manufacturer at all, just using their experience gained probably over many years.

Manual
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer service manual' and you may be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct but often it will supply only to registered agents.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

My washing is stuck in the machine, the door wont

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Following are my complete and generic guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Smells like old smelly socks

this might be coming from the rubber door seal clean it all the way round make sure holes at bottom are not blocked and the rubber door seal is all clean. also clean the draw so there is no power left in there and it is all clean. also a good thing to do is run it though a cleaning cycle with normal detergent at max temperature that the machine can do. hope this helps.

How do i get to the drum to put new belt on

there is a pulley wheel at the rear of the machine that the belt goes between this and the motor shaft, you do not have to get to the drum at all. you will however need to get the machine out to get to the rear of it, there should be an access panel at the rear which will let you put the belt on. remember to disconnect all water and electricity before removing the machine. put the belt on the motor first and then run round the pulley wheel by holding it to the wheel and rotate on, be careful the belt will be taught when applied so watch your fingers do not get trapped.
