Can this gas range be converted to lp gas maytag performa

To convert this range to LP, you do not need to replace the orifices. The range comes with universal (double coaxial) orifices. You need to convert the pressure regulator; the procedure depends on the range. Then screw down the burner orifice hoods down to the pins. Do not over-tighten or you wil risk damaging the orifice. Then adjust the burner air shutter. For the oven burner, look behind the burner cover. You can find the range bake and broiler burners shown on the gas controls diagram.

The instructions for converting the Maytag MGR5750BDQ from natural gas to liquid propane (NG to LP) is shown in the installation instructions for the range, starting on page 10. u would need an lp kit some of the ranges came with the unit check the unit pull the drawer out and check below maybe taped to frame or chcek the rear backside for some orfices, u are gonna have to replace the orfices on the top burners.. also if its gas oven the same will be required by flipping the cap to the regulator and making some adjustments inside as well..... hope this help

was the injectors converted in both and was the regulator converted

Contact the appliance manufacter and ask for a conversion kit. This should be done by qualified persons only.

Switch on regulator to stove shut off is on. Explain this a little more I do not understand.

Natural Gas has a pressure at about 1/4oz psi. Propane runs at a much higher pressure 8 psi to 15 psi. For your safety do not use the oven until it is garenteed that the oven is rated for LP Gas!

GE ships gas ranges set for natural gas, with the LP orifices included, usually on a metal tab held with one screw right near the regulator (where the gas connects to the range). If the range was converted to LP, the person who did the conversion was suppose to put the natural gas orifices back in that holder. If they are missing, comment back on the exact model number and I can look up the part number(s) for you.

r u on lp gas or nat gas if u r lp gas u need to convert the burner from nat gas to lp gas u need to call your gas co. to do the convertion

did you change the ovens burner orfice?if not theres your problem.
