Im not sure what model you have. But..... you could have a weak lamp. When the set shuts off or right before, does the lamp indicator light come on? Does the temp light come on? Im also assuming this is a DLP. If it is the lamp has to be working for the picture to come up at all. Hope this is helpful.

Mitsubishi TV 65 inch rear projection. WS 65809 I went thru the convergence ic chip replacement years ago. Love the TV. My problem now is that the brightness goes from full bright to full dim then...

The old Mitsubishi units had a super capacitor in the logic circuit instead of a backup battery. This capacitor became leaky over time, causing the problem you describe among others. Number one symptom is set has audio and dark or black picture when powered up. As the super cap charges to full voltage, picture comes and goes.

I have a sony 52 inch wegagate dlp ty that has a dim picture what could be the problem?

If its a Sony and a DLP a lot of times just before the lamp life ends it gives a darker or dim picture---if it gets dim enough set will shut down.

My hp laptop screen goes black after being on for a few minutes

The problem could be the backlight or its inverter is bad. IF picture remains but lights only go out. Also it is normal for the screen to go black if the laptop is not used.

If the picture itself remains on the display but it just goes dim, try turning up the brightness, if noting happens, most likely the backlight of the screen or its inverter is or has gone bad.

Would need to be confirmed in person.

If the picture does not remain on the screen and the laptop shuts off, your charger might not be working, and your battery is low.

Would need to be inspected in person.

Green light stays on red light blinks set won,t go on but bulb does not look blown also fan does not run after tv is shut off like it use to before and tv shuts itself off after a while when it does work...

With a dim picture even if lamp looks ok I would make it suspect number one---going to have to decide if you want to buy a new lamp to find out--average life is 1-2 thousand hours.

Ln55c650 keeps flashing bright to dim very fast after about 30 minutes of being on if i shut it off for a few minutes it goes away til about 30 minutes the picture never goes away just gets bright and dim...

I had the same issue occur on my ln55c650 (screen flickering, not the actual image but the front lights flashed which was too distracting) and they had to replace the power supply pc-board. Seems some issue with power module in the TV rather than the side panels. Luckily for me, TV was still in warranty.

It is actually NN-T695SF, it will not warm food. It powers up then goes dim, then powers up then goes dim, it keeps doing that. Food comes out cold.

Hi, if it is an inverter microwave and the problem is cycling every 2-3 seconds, my experience is the magnetron has most likely gone short circuit and the inverter board is shutting down to protect itself and then restarting, hence your symptom.
DO NOT try to test this unless you are experienced with extra high voltages - the voltages present/stored in a microwave even when powered off can kill you.

No picture on my x5g-komodo7 monitor

A reddish picture is the classic symptom of worn out backlight bulbs.
Sensor circuits usually shut down the power to the bulbs in a second or so.
