All speakers arent working

dose the sub woofer hooked up to the t.v.

FIRST OF ALL --- THERE IS A FEW THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE HOOKING UP
A WOOFER LIKE THIS ---- IS THIS A STORE BOUGHT POWERED SUB WOOFER ? DOES IT HAVE IT'S OWN CROSSOVER BUILT INSIDE ?? I WOULD GUESS IT NEEDS TO BE HOOKED
UP TO A SUB WOOFER OUTPUT FOUND ON THE BACK OF THE IN DASH PLAYER ..
THE WOOFER NEEDS TO RECEIVE ONLY LOW FREQUENCY AUDIO WHICH MOST OF THE NEWER CAR STEREOS PROVIDE BY AN RCA JACK ON A SHORT WIRE COMING OUT OF THE STEREO ...
IF YOU TRY AND TAP IT TO FULL RANGE SPEAKERS THAT ALREADY ARE CONNECTED TO AN AMPLIFIED SIGNAL THE SOUND WILL BE DISTORTED .......
POWERED SUB WOOFERS NEED A LINE LEVEL INPUT WHICH IS MUCH LOWER THAN SAY
SPEAKERS ALREADY RECEIVING AN AMPLIFIED SIGNAL.
POWERED WOOFER WILL ALSO NEED TO HAVE A 12 VOLT ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND A GROUND WIRE TO OPERATE THE AMPLIFIER BUILT INSIDE.
IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH THIS TYPE OF HOOK UP I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND SOMEONE WHO DOES [ CAR AUDIO SHOP ]

Check your owners manual.You will probably have to activate the sub woofer outlet,using the remote.This outlet can usually be programmed to do more than one function.

Are we talking about an external add-on sub not supplied with the HT-DS1000? If so, please identify it.

The interconnecting cable itself is a 13-pin DIN.

Hi! I have the same sytem. And I have the doc for my Iphone. But I have problem with sound from central and rear speakers. I've contacted to Sumsung. They have given me UPS label to send unit to their LAB.

TURN THE SOUND UP

Different sound system use different voltages for their speakers. Look up in your computer manual what the electricial requirments are for the speakers and see if the one you bought matches.

first check the settings of woofer or dvd player (keep in 5.1 mode and RAW)

either the rcas arent outputting the audio signal or you have a bad se tof rcas. An amp is obiously not your issue in this case.

Hi, maybe,like my HT-THX25, my book states that sound will only be heard from the rear speakers when in DVD 5.1 or Dolby Pro Logic 11 mode, peronally I would love to hear sound from any of my speakers when TV is on lol. Geoff
