Check the water supply, if the water supply is restricted in some way it will take a long time to fill, the m/c may need to fill 4 or 5 times in a complete wash.

GE Profile top load washer made loud buzz/screech noise. Clothes are coming out with dirt, cat hair, fuzz, etc even after washing twice. And now hot/warm water isn't working.

When you took the hot water hose off, did you check the little gauze strainer inside where the hose screws? That black in the water is iron and scale from the hot tank. See the video I added.

Buzzing could be the motor or controller knob, but if its' running, don't worry.

Screeching is normally belt slip. You can get a can of belt conditioner which makes it supple and grippy.

A GE washer making noise that sounds like squealing likely has a damaged drive belt. This rubber belt is suspended on a pulley, connecting the tub to the drive motor or transmission in front and top load washers. Wear and tear can cause the belt to loosen or fray, resulting in a squealing sound.

I am finding the soap dispenser is full of water when I begin a new load of clothes. Where is it coming from? What should I do about it? I have a GE Profile Harmony.

Check that your machine is level or set according to the manual.
If it is tilted forwards the water cannot run out of the dispenser under gravity, which is how it empties.

GE top load profile washer won't spin. It starts

The tub hangs on 4 support rods. Lateral movement is kept in check with 4 bungy cords bolted to the top of the tub. If that washer is not level the tub will hang to one side and the fancy controls will declare an error. Make sure all your rods are good (they drag the base of the machine when worn out and make a heck of a racket) and the bungys are not stretched and the machine is level.

Water leaking from underneath the front of the washer..

It could be a seal on the bottom of the tub or a loose or damaged hose where it pumps out. It could also be a loose hose on the water level switch. Remove the front and run it to check it out.

I believe you need to pry up slightly on the top and reach through the gap with a small screwdriver and press on the clips on either side to release the top and lift the top. Then there are two screws that hold the front to the sides and you should be able to lift the front off. Good luck.

I am trying to fill the washer to do a load of laundry but the water is coming out the back of the washer instead what should I do

Open the washer and make sure the tube is not sitting forward .If not then you will have to lift the top of washer up and cheak for leaking hose. Also when washer is filling look with flashlight behind it to see if there is a leak there.

Ge front load washer

because the frontloaders are set up differently and use less water. The regular soap sudds to much and can cause a number of problems in front loaders.
which can be but not limmited to burned out pump, motor etc.
