Battery Problem My headset BT350 does not charge. The battery is completely discharged. Where can i buy the battery

That may very well be the case. There is a finite number of charge / discharge cycles a battery can handle. This number varies based on the level of discharge prior to charging, temperature, etc. Some devices can operate via charger alone - and others require a small amount of battery power and a charger to operate. A classic tell tale sign is an older device that has been used regularly and charged every day or night - but was allowed to fully discharge once - due to failure to connect to the charger. Attempting to charge may indicate it is accepting a charge but goes completely dead / dark when the charger is removed. That usually indicates a battery that was drained so low that it will need to be replaced. Good luck!

It likely that rechargable battery is not taking a charge any further or the contacts point of plug are damaged. Sorry to say "it's dead, Jim."

I called Jabra Support and they are sending out another unit. The technician indicated that the battery is likely defective and is not field replaceable.

right out of the box i had the light flicker on me too. if you don't have warranty or receipt like i did try this. i'm not responsible if it doesn't work after!

peel off the blue part of plastic that has jabra on it. take a screwdriver and unscrew the star screws. take the cover off. using some wires, briefly connect a battery (i used a wireless drill battery) to the leads of the bluetooth battery. you'll see a spark.

now my thing is charging for the first time

This is what I did:
1. open the headset by following these steps:

2. measure the voltage of the battery. If it is too low, the internal charger circuit may not like it. Mine was 2.6v.
3. Charge the battery "manually" by connecting to 3 serially connected rechargeable batteries (final voltage should be around 3.7v). Three NiMH AA batteries are fine.
4. Reassemble and hope your headset is back to business.

try turning bluetooth off . first erase bluetooth connections on phone. turn off phone and take out phone's battery for ten seconds. put battery back in and turn on phone. plug bluetooth into charger for ten seconds and unplug it. try re-pairing bluetooth with phone. This worked for me!

I've gotta solution for you. I had the same problem and what I have found out is that if the headset does not go charged for an extended period of time, the battery needs to get kick started so that it will accept a charge. In order to do this, you have to remove the blue plate with a small screwdriver first. Then with an extremely small torx bit take off 2 screws that were under the blue plate. Next remove the board from the shell, but not so much as to disconnect them from the soldered components.

Here's the tricky part. You will see the 150 MAH NiMH battery with a + and - post right on top of it. the connections are about 1/8" thick. You MUST HAVE a battery charger that can manipulate the current and voltage while charging. This would be like a peak charger for an R/C car of which I happen to have. Set it at 150 MAH, and Delta Peak at Auto and in 10 minutes its charged and ready to go. After you put it all back together, you can then again charge it as you normally would with the AC charger or USB connection. I believe the majority of DOA headsets are due to being on the shelf for an extended period of time and not getting some charge.....eh it happens!
