Prints like it is running out of ink, but it is a new cartridge. Some sentences are printing, others are blank, or partially printing.Followed instructions to align and clean nozzles. Doesn't help.

Original INK? If so send to repair shop. If not "YOU HAVE BROKEN YOUR PRINTER", buy new one.

If you have lots of flashing error lights or electrical problems then it is likely to be electrical.

However, if like most... and your
printer has just been left unused for some time? You probably have an ink clog on the cyan and magenta. Or possibly a faulty cartridge.

Provided it worked OK before a period of non-use? Then you just need to use a Magic Inkjet Flush PRINT HEAD CLEANING KIT to unclog the tiny jets. (available from https://magicinkjetflush.com)
It usually works a treat on those!

Magic is ideal for unclogging the tiny jets on any Canon, Epson HP and great for removing those horrible white lines which usually appear in
prints when dried ink clogs several jets...

So if yours appears to be a clog? all you should need to do is to use the Magic Inkjet Flush Kit to soak the print head and you should be printing again like
new.

You can read more here:

Hope it helps!
Good Luck!

Canon Pixma MP230. Replaced the black cartridge, now prints every other line partially blank?

The print head needs deep cleaning. I remove mine and run it under hot water until the water runs clear. Dry thoroughly with paper towel and try in the printer again.

Blank pages printing

Sounds like the printhead is pretty severely dried. As standard cleaning cycles haven't helped I would recommend picking up some LC900 cleaning cartridges from eBay etc. These are cartridges filled/partially filled with cartridge flush and break down ink inside the printer.

Most of them contain a mix of ink and flush and you can carry on printing as usual. Given the severity of the dried/blocked printhead you have I would recommend just running cleaning cycles, but leave 10 minutes or so between cleans to avoid overheating the printhead.

I have an Epson CX4800 that just stopped printing. I followed the Troubleshooting steps on the Epson site (including new ink cartridges) but nothing has helped. the print job does reach the printer - but...

I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Prints everything blank

Check the print cartridge. Open the printers top cover and find release lever for the ink cartridge. Lift out the cartridge and check the jets (copper coloered foil with holes) for blockage. New cartridges have a piece of tape over the jets which must be removed before installing. If blocked with dried ink, dab gently with paper towel and rubbing alcohol. Dry by dabbing on paper towel. Other things to check are: Incorrect cartridge, empty cartridge, and cartridge not snapped in all the way. The cartridge that comes with the printer usually is only partly filled and runs out earlier than normal. You could always try a new cartridge which you will need eventually anyway.

Good luck,

I replaced both ink cartridges for the printer, won' print.

Please follow the procedure your printer has which forces it printer to clean the print heads.
I have experience of other epson stylus models.  I have previously spoken to epson about this exact problem.  Repeating the head cleaning process a minimum 5 times cleared the problem.
Running head clean multiple times in succession builds up pressure in the print heads - causing (usually new) cartridges to work correctly.
kind regards

Printer prints just part of sentences

Heeheehee do I feel stupid I just checked the printer for the upteenth time and finally found the problem.
I had a piece of paper (sticky price tag paper ) on the ink track so that was what was causing my problem. It was covered in ink LOL.

Can we print with other three Color ink cartridges when Black Ink cartridge is emptied?

hi,

as u have ran out of ink you cant print anymore... you have to replace a new ink cartridge.... this is because when u print something, the colors will get mixed to print the exact color.... even if u are printing only in black, some other colors wil get mixed to produce the black color on the paper... so u need to change the ink cartridge.... u cannot run with a blank filled ink cartridge.... and the selection of your printer is very good...

thanks and regards

Canon MultiPassC555 printer

Could be a partial block - print a block of color and look for blank spaces in it, if you get them, then you should unblock the nozzle and the print head. Clean them with hot distilled water, and to be on the safe side clean the contacts as well. Good luck!
