Lost the manual and now phone only speaks in french and I need english. What can I do
Language selects which language you will use on the display menu.
To change the language
1. Enter the handset or base setup menu and then the language submenu by pressing the menu soft key in standby mode.
2.Use Volume Up/Down to move the pointer to a desired menu
3. Press the O.K. soft key to select the desired main menu
4. Use Volume Up/Down to select a desired sub menu, then press the O.K. soft key to enter.
5. In the sub menu option use Volume/Up down to select the desired sub menu, in this Language
6.Press O.K. to confirm your selection
7.Press Volume up/down to chose English
8.Press the O.K. soft key and you will here a confirmation tone

It would be irresponsible of my if I didn't point out that what I believe you are looking for is something to flash your motherboards bios/firmware and I must point out that "Acer recommends that you should only upgrade your firmware/drivers if you have been instructed to do
so by an Acer Customer Care representative.
By using these firmware/drivers you agree to accept the
possibility of product failure."
In other words, Be careful you could fry your computer with the wrong flash/drivers.

Sorry disregrard last comment, posted to you wrong problem.
If you followed all the steps correctly it should have worked, I don't understand why it did not work. There must be a bug in the instruction program or some other malfunction.
