Pull the hard drive out, get an EIDE / SATA to usb adapter at a computer retail store. This will allow you to hook up your hard drive to another computer by pluggin it into a usb port. The computer will then read the hard drive as an external drive. You can then access all the files and copy what you want.

You could get a vga cable and hook the laptop up to another monitor or a tv that has a vga input. This way you could use the tv or monitor as an external and get yourself an external hard drive to copy your files.

The next thing you can do is look for a screen on ebay and buy an lcd panel, On most laptops, there are rubber covers over the attachment screws, then the bezel snaps off the frame. Unplug the inverter on the bottom, remove the tiny screws holding the screen to the sides of the hinge arms, unplug the flat video cable on the back, take the screen away and pop the new one in place.

How could i use my GE wireless color camera45233T with my labtop

What OS and type is your PC?

What kind of stuff is missing ?

You should be able to buy some stuff for it on eBay.

Check the manufacturers support site for instructions on how to connect to it over the wireless network.

Black screen on my labtop, can't see a thing

This sounds like a ram or memory issue. If your computer is under warranty I would contact the manufacturer. If it is not, I would find a manual and reseat the ram. All notebooks vary so I would not be able to tell you where it is specifically. The process is you pull out the ram, and put it back in.

If you feel uncomfortable doing this any local computer repair store should be able to take care of this for you.

Also, is the screen turning on, I mean can you tell if the screen is actually on. There may be a problem with the monitor, or cabling if the screen is not actually turning on. I understand the screen stays blank, but there is two different types of blank. As in there is no text but the screen is on. Or the screen is completely off.

If it is completely off it is not a memory issue, but a screen issue and would need to be handled by the manufacturer or repair firm.

Gateway labtop

Take it back. Send it back. You shouldn't have to deal with a blown speaker 2 weeks after purchase. Theres a warranty for stuff like that.

Image being displayed is all colored vertical lines

I had this problem a lot on Labtops. The problem is that it has been unliquifed in the screen. This means that the screen has been damaged or has got really hot. Also its has been on for along time. LCDs go bad real quick and can be a hassle when you need the infomation in the thing and have no display. When I had this problem on my labtop, I used the external bay to use another monitor so I can work on it. So I say that nothing can be done to fix it. The only way to see your stuff on there is to use the video out on the recorder and try to check your stuff. That multicolor lines you saw is becoming major right now in LCD displays. I hope this solves your problem.

Multicolor Lines on my Sony Vaio Labtop Monitor

Check that the graphics drivers are ok and updated if there are updates as it's a little old know. May also be a screen fault, not worth repairing.
