Hi,

you need to upen up your toshiba, and disconnect the internal battery, not the big one. Or, maybe a simpler method - call toshiba to check if there is a master password from them... :-)

Don't bother If you already forget your Toshiba satellite master bios password, you will not unable to view what is on your hard drive If you've forgotten your BIOS password, or if someone has changed the password on your laptop without your permission.
Easy Trick To Get Rid Of This Mess:
So you need to know what are the probable bios password issues and how to solve them:

  • Bios backdoor password: Unfortunately, Bios passwords are not well-protected. So you need to use a backdoor password to get access to your PC. If you have a Toshiba backdoor password, it allows you to get access to your gadget and clear the old Bios password. If then, you are having the same problem, consult us for expert guidance.
  • CMOS battery: Every PC has a small battery that is installed on the motherboard. It is called CMOS. It is actually used to store Bios settings even when your device does not have any power. In order to clear CMOS, you need to remove the battery from your device.
  • Then leave it for at least 30 minutes and make sure that you must turn off your gadget. Then you need to remove its AC adapter before removing the battery. If you are unable to fix it yourself, avail professional help.
  • Change jumper settings: Whenever you get access to the motherboard, you need a specific jumper. On most of the motherboards, you can see a jumper to clear the CMOS or clear the password. After changing of the jumper setting, you have to turn on your PC and check if the password is gone or not. After that, you need to turn it off once again and then start. Then you can set your new password. If again you will face issues, contact our professionals immediately to fix your issue.

Bios password toshiba Sat A135 cannot reset???

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to remove the battery on your Toshiba laptop as it is soldered on the motherboard.

How to remove the cmos or bios password and want to remove the password in booting up, my laptop is toshiba satellite a135-s4527

The BIOS password is removed by the BIOS configuration, you need the BIOS password to get into the BIOS configuration. But if you do not have the BIOS password then you need to construct this dongle device.
TOSHIBA BIOS PASSWORD DONGLE
You can build a dongle that plugs into the printer port.Purchase a 25 pin male D sub connector and solder insulated wires to the various pins as listed below. The pins are numbered on the connector
http://www.tilman.de/sonstiges/toshiba/dongle1.jpg this is a picture of the finished dongle

Wire the pins as follows :-1-5-10, 2-11, 3-17, 4-12, 6-16, 7-13, 8-14, 9-15
Plug the finished dongle in the printer port and power up the laptop. The password will be reset, go into the BIOS configuration to check the BIOS password, you may have to disable the BIOS password.

Issue

The computer models listed above may display a "Password =" prompt when the computer is turned on, even though no power-on password has been set. If this happens, there is no password that will satisfy the password request. If the computer is turned off and back on again, it is very likely that the same password prompt will appear. The computer will be unusable until this problem is fixed.

If the problem has not happened yet, you can prevent it from happening in the future by upgrading the BIOS to the newest version.

The occurrence of this problem on any particular computer is unpredictable -- it may never happen, but it could happen any time that the computer is turned on. If this problem does occur, it will be necessary to send the computer to a Toshiba Authorized Service Provider, who will fix the problem at no charge to you.

Resolution

If this problem has not yet occurred on your computer, then click the following link to download and install BIOS version 1.40. This BIOS displays a power-on password prompt only when a power-on password has actually been set via the BIOS Setup program.

You may also browse for a newer version of the computer's BIOS at pcsupport.toshiba.com.

For more help, see Support Bulletin 98081213 Obtaining downloads and support docs from the Toshiba Support website.

If the problem has already occurred on your computer, then please make arrangements with a Toshiba Authorized Service Provider to have this problem fixed at no charge. To locate a Toshiba Authorized Service Provider (ASP), please visit Toshiba's Global ASP Locator at http://pcrepair.toshiba.com

BTW, I've heard that this only happens when you boot up on battery power.

Maybe you can confirm this...
