Front load Frigidaire Gallery washer

During the final spin cycle the washer does not spin the clothes at high revolution therefore they are sopping wet at the end of the spin cycle. The washer does toss the clothes at a light spin but never fast enough to get the water out of the clothes. Any suggestions

I have the same problem, but ONLY on the permanent press cycle (with press saver option). I have had repairmen out four times but no one can fix it or tell me what is wrong. The last guy (yesterday) told me it was from too much soap. He suggested I run the same load again and again until there was no soap and it should spin dry then. I have run the same load through for two days now (no soap) and it still does not spin dry. Any thoughts????

Inconsistent High speed final spin cycle.

To overcome the problem I need to reduce the load in the washing machine (sometimes by about 50%) for the High Speed Final Spin Cycle to 'kick in' and finish the job.

Once spun, remove those spun clothes from the washing machine and place them into the dryer. Then replace the balance of the previously unspun 'wet' load and re-run the final High Speed Final Spin Cycle again.

Frigidaire Gallery washer won't produce final high spin

Hey friend, thank you for your post!
I see that your Frigidaire washer, FWT449GFS2 is not entering the final high spin cycle. It is possible that you could have a defective motor or timer. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would recommend you having a professional come out to the home for the repair of your washer. -Matt

Doesn't spin the clothes dry on the final spin but spins at high revolutions without a load of clothes

I have read that if the pump is not draining the tub completely, there is an interlock that prevents the high speed spin from engagin. I have had debris caught in my pump several times (kids!!) with similar issues. There is a trap on the line leading from the tub to the pump which is "supposed" to capture debris, but it doesn't work all that well. Check your pump.....
