You can order a new remote from ebay or just google the make and model of the tv and remote or you can use a universal remote and pick one up at a local Wal-Mart or Target store. Good luck.

SOURCE: Tv won't stop changing channels

You need to isolate the problem.
1) Unplug the set for a few seconds then plug it in.
2) Operate the TV with the control/buttons on the TV. (Channels etc)
If the TV operates correctly then do the following.
3) Try operating with the remote unit. If the problem returns then it's the remote failing.

Sometime remotes can be reset.
Try this;
Step 1- Pull the batteries out of the remote and leave them out until Step 4.
Step 2- Press and release each and every button one at a time on the remote control until every button has been pressed and released at least once!
Step 3- If your remote has slide switches, you must move the switch to each position then repeat the button pushing in Step 2.
(When you're done, be sure to put the slide switch in the correct position to operate the unit the remote came with!)
Step 4- Put the batteries back into the remote, being very careful to install them correctly.
New batteries should be used if you're not sure about the old ones.

Try it again. If the problem is still there then the remote is bad.
Since this is a new TV you should use your warranty to replace any bad parts.

SOURCE: My remote control just stopped working to control

It sounds as if the individual keys on the remote maybe having problems, the cheapest thing is to get a new universal remote. They start at $4.00-$32.00 and will work for most TV's by entering a specific code. Remotes depending on use /abuse do not last forever but at least the replacements are cheap.

Hisense 32h3e brand new remote won't work battery's OK

Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It has details about how to check a remote control; by one among the post. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If the remote control is found OK; check and replace the infra-red sensor inside the TV. Contact any service technician.

I have a brand new straight from box LG TV model 32LD320. I have unpluged the HDMI from old TV ( where was working 100% OK) plugged into new TV. Mains switch on - and cannot get any chanels to report on...

HDMI sends video from a source likea bluray player or 'cable box' to tv it will not send signal so you can program channels from it

turn tv to the HDMI input you plugged device into and watch cideo from that source

you will need to connect some type of antenna to be able to program channels on tv

very few tvs need channels programmed these days since most people hook up a cable or sattelite receiver and change channels that way

hope this helps if not give me more speecific details and i can help you more

good luck

Sony trinitron kv32-s15 remote willnot change channels, but, will change on/off and volume. Also, manula channel up/down willnot work

Try to change channels by manually entering the numbers on your remote. If this works then you need to reprogram your channels.

How do we fix the remote?

Have you tried to insert the remote codes on there again? Some remotes might reset if you take out the batteries but higher end ones do not since they have an internal back up system.

Try the codes and if that doesnt work then let us know.

Otherwise make sure the press the correct "source" you intend to opperate with it. such as the DVD player on component, or DVR on HDMI, etc... Some times if the wrong source is pushed it wont work. But normally pressing it will fix the problem.

Keep us posted!

Can't change channels!!!!

take the batteries out of the remote...now check if you can change channels manually on the big screen. if so the remote is stuck on one signal that channel u said. get a new remote. if still same trouble on big screen look hard at the buttons and make sure none are jammed. also try to get to your setup menu and auto-program the channels it should search everything and then try changing channels. new stuff alot times plugs come loose, goes back to the factory workers...not pushing them tight have a tech check that at your home.
