I too had one of those Sharp brand atomic clocks. They are notorious for bad remote temp. sensors.
Don't waste your time. Send the clock to landfill heaven and buy a different brand.

After replacing the transmitter batteries several times, I tried replacing the clock batteries. They must have been getting low. Once I put in new batteries in the clock it worked fine. Good Luck.

SOURCE: how do I get the

Hello jdb..... The outdoor transmitter needs to undergo a wee bit of maintenance. Remove those new batteries and clean the battery contacts with the eraser on the end of a common pencil. Then replace the batteries. IF you notice that the batteries slide in easily, use a small flat blade screwdriver to gently lift the battery contacts to increase the contact when you do slide the new batteries in. Joe

Thanks for choosing Fixya!

Look carefully at the back of your clock for a reset button. The temp may have encountered a problem and stopped working. Also, be sure the battery is fresh. Hope this helps.

I have an Acurite weather station, model 02080, and when I place the lightning sensor outdoors as it states in setup, outdoor temp is indicated. How do I set it up to work properly?

The display has the internal sensor for temp and barometer, The 5 in one has the sensor for outdoors and shows temp, wind speed and direction, humidity and rain. With the added lightning detector having the additional temp sensor in it, the system is redundant. It is recommended to put the sensor outside for best results that t have the least interference and maximum range..

How do we set the outside temp?

since this question is very non specific i.e., no brand name, model or serial numbers, I can only assume that this is the type of unit that monitor the outdoor temp and does not require any settings. If you need more info, please include more details. Thanks.

Outdoor temp doesn't show on my LaCrosse 8349

try changing channels on all sensors and the receiver.. You will have to go through a wait time as before. This worked for me last year, but mine eventually failed completely this year

Is there censor available for a 308-2316 weather station that will make the outdoor temp more accurate?

The most important things to remember with weather stations are placement and battery power. To get an accurate reading, you must have the sensors in the proper spot. If they are on a roof, they must be at least 3 feet above the roof. The batteries should be changed yearly and replaced with Lithium type batteries. Your sensor suite is a combination of anemometer and thermo-hygrometer. You may be able to purchase another temp sensor. The manual shows multiple channels for that application. Truck dies when i go in reverse and sometimes at stop light

P1595 is a code for speed control solenoid circuits, P1492 is for ambeint/batt temp sensor voltage to high, P0305 is for cylinder no. 5 misfire. The first one could be the servo is unpluged or a bad brake switch. The second may be a unplug sensor( battery temp sensor), The third one check your spark plugs and wires.
