Most common is a burnt out inlet valve. Turn off water and disconnect power. The valve on Bosch dishwashers is at the back on the bottom panel. The water feed pipe is attached directly to the inlet valve. The valve itself iis set into a small rectangular panel that is sometimes just clipped in or held with two screws at one end. Remove this panel and disconnect the two wires on the valve and disconnect the internal feed pipe. These valves are common on Neff, Siemens and Bosch dishwashers and washing machines and generic after-market replacements can be had for less than £10 (about £25 from Bosch). If it is not a defective inlet valve it could be a defective control board in which case the the cost of replacement has to be weighed against the cost of a new machine.

make certain that there is water coming into the d/w if so and you are sure that the solenoid on the water valve energizes then its possible that the strainer on the water valve might be clogged if so its going to take a bit of work to remove and clean the strainer and reasemble it are you confident .

The most common reason why your machine has stopped filling is not the valve, but more likey you have had a leak and the base of the machine is full of water.
If you take the lid off followed by the left side panel ( held on with 2 torx 20 screws ) the lid has two clips at the back and pushes back from the front.
at the bottom of the metering tank towards the front you will see a Red lever going up to a mircoswitch and down to a float. push the lever down to see if the microswitch reacts. if so the base is full of water. empty out and test. try this first, if no luck get back to me.

May be open circuit water valve. Appliance will go to error mode if water level has not reached a certain height after a preset time. Check coil continuity with a multi meter. Should be looking for about 200 ohms.
