Hi, my name is Nicole. My KV-36HS510 Sony TV is being broadcast with the picture size reduced quite a bit. Playing DVD's is fine, the pic fills the whole 36". However on cable TV it is chopped on the top and bottom.

did some google searching: turns out DTV is another type of input (like DVD and cable) and is defined as Direct TV...



So, (according to the manual) whatever label your TV puts on the screen defines how it recognizes the input you are applying...



So, since i guess you probably aren't using DTV, then you need to tell the TV otherwise



Here are your new marching codes ;D

press "menu"
the setup screen should open
scroll through the options to "Video Label"

scroll through (video 1~7) --> depends on what input video you're using(for cable i recommend 1~4)

then choose between a set of options (DVD, cable box, .......etc) and try them one by one until you get it right and the picture is like you hoped...
