Have you tried dialing (* 82) prior to the number you are calling? That should release the private number, for that call only. To release it permanently, you must call your local phone company.

I do not believe it is an option to turn off the intercom. The only option I can see is to set up a Privacy button (Feature 07). You can turn this on and off as you need to. It would also help to know which Partner Release you are using.
you must have not selected the options to lock ur msgs go to>settings>security>privacy(click on privacy not to the circle)>select the options and press done type the password and save it.if u forget the password then dont worry just master reset the password
Hi, as far as I am aware it is only
possible to block senders texts by deliberately entering their number in
the phone. It can be changed by deleting it. Go to the main menu and
select 'settings' then option number 4 'message settings' then option 2 'text messages' then
option 2 'block number'. If a nember has been blocked it will be listed
here and can simply be errased.

go to menu, then select settings icon. Scroll to call settings(option 7). Select all calls. go to auto block(option 2). select off, then highlight word Block. Press the OK button on phone to bring up list of numbers that are blocked. highlight the number to unblock, press option and select delete. this will unblock the number and allow them to call you again.
The default lock code for any Verizon Wireless phone is the last four digits of your phone number. If you've changed the lock code, then you have two options:
1. LG phones can be reprogrammed even when locked, so dial *228 and press Send. When you hear the woman's voice choose option 1. When the call ends the phone will reboot and your lock code will be changed back to the last four of your phone number.
2. Bring the phone into a Verizon Wireless store, where they can read the lock code off the phone using their computers.
In the case of the original poster - if your phone isn't activated at all, as in it is not currently active on any phone number, then go with the second option. You could, if you really wanted to, call Customer Service and have them put that phone onto your phone number, then when you activate it (*228, send, option 1) the lock code will be the last four of your phone number.
