I am looking for a manual for a Janome sewing machine Model 4612 Serial number 130197695. Can you help me?

I checked the instruction manual available for the Janome 8002D serger through the Janome website:

and did not find a date of printing on the manual (which would give an idea for the year/s the model was manufactured.)

I also found the following information on one of the Janome web pages:

I would really suggest that you start with this website www.sewing.about.com, there is so much really good general information on sewing, sewing machines, threading up, trouble shooting, using the right sized needle and quality thread and it is all free.

I have found a pdf file of the manual on line ftp://ftp.drivehq.com/ click on the link saying "RX18S instructions", it will take a while to load as its 17MB.

Go to the janome website
Click on country
Click on machines
Check either the home sewing/embroidery or retired section for your model
number
