Well, is it a Windows OS username and password forgotten trouble?

If so, I think it is better for you to take a third party software to reset your forgotten Windows password as soon as possbile. Just take Windows Password Unlocker for example, which allows to reset the password and username with a bootable CD/DVD/USB.

Of course, if you are the administrator, you can also take it to reset the user password.

It have button for reset. click in 10 seconds.
iF YOU DONT WANT TO DO THAT, because it will reset to factory setting

So how to reset without lost username password?

type at your browser 192.168.0.1
FILL USERNAME AND PASSWORD. that is for modem router username and password.
if you never change,then try
USERNAME:admin
PASSWORD:admin

IT WILL OPEN IT USERNAME AND PASSWORD IS TRUE.
THEN GO TO MANAINTENANCE->REBOOT.

Every company that makes routers etc... has what they call backdoor (default) username and password so if you lost or forgot your username and password there is still a way to get into the router........

so google the backdoor username and password for your router..... and follow these steps


The first step is to reset the router by pressing the reset button on the back......this could be tricky sometimes cause you need something that can reach the button.... the lights will blank if you hard reset is successful .....

Once you reset the router

Step two enter the backdoor username and password....

Simple

........If this does not work .......then hard reset was not successful or you found the wrong backdoor (default) username and password

If these all fail, reset your router and try again.

If you have not changed it, the default username and password can be:

Username: can be left blank or use "admin"
(without the quotes)

Password: can be left blank or you can use either "password", "1234", "admin"
(without the quotes)

A router has a default username and password the default password is usually admin and depending on what type of router you have the password for the username should be admin as well, however you may be able to leave it blank. Now if you are trying to connect to a router in your area and is asking for a network key this is a username and password that was setup. If you are trying to access your own router and forgot the username you can always reset your router however by doing this it will reset the router back to default settings simply press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds or until router restarts you may need a paperclip in order to push reset button.

The common username and password are the following:

Username :admin
Password :admin

Username :admin
Password :password

If these does not work try to reset the router to factory default and then the same would work

In order to reset either there would be a dedicated reset button either on front or back of the router,or there would be a reset hole where u need to put in a pin and hold it for 20-30 seconds, if none of them are available press the power button and keep it pressed for 40 - 50 seconds, it should work

For the motorola router's default username is "admin"; The router's default default password is "motorola".

If it is a Motorola-Cablerouter then default username is " cablecom"; The default password is "router".

Reset the router to Factory Defaults if the password is not working and re-configure it .

Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape. Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.1.254

type .........http://192.168.1.254


You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default both the username and password are blank.
Click the Ok button to log in to your router.

If you already had a password, you need that or need to reset the router to factory settings in order to start over again.
