I have a problem with my Cybex 700R that I used for years but have not used for over a year. It is user powered, but will no longer power up when I start peddling, so cannot activate the display or any of the function keys. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?
I have a Cybex 500 and am looking for a user manual. Mine also stopped working. It's due to the internal battery running down. What you need is to plug a Power supply into the bike. I used one of these multi voltage adaptors. At the front of the bike you will see a point to plug the adaptor that fits snuggly into it. Mine was set to 12v with a positive pole to center contact. There is a diagram on the front of the bike to show you although mine wasnt marked pos or neg.
Switch mains power on and you'll get a series of displays scrolling. You'll be able to now use the bike. I left mine plugged in for 24 hours which charged the internal battery and now works perfectly again.
If you can now help me with the manual for the 500 Only want the setup pages. (1 or 2).

I have the same problem with my Cybex 500r Bike. Hurt my leg and didn't use it for a couple of months and when I finally did there was no activity on the display.
