I downloaded and burnt to CD the firmware upgrade
When I insert the CD w/ upgrade I get the message
"firmware upgrade"
old ver 2.030827.02GVI
new ver 3.040421.02GVI
press enter.
I press enter, get the message "loading" an it just sits there.
I have walked away an let it alone for over and hour.
When I come back nothing has changed, same message.
The Customer service # 1-800-736-7679 no longer works.
Any ideas?
Does this upgrade really help, if you can get it to work?
Or should I just let well enough alone.
Thanks,

Are you trying to set up the router using CD ? Sometimes the CD does not work. You can set up the router manually without CD. Now! the first thing is that you have WRT160N router. This router has issues with the firmware. I will advise you to upgrade the firmware of the router. Download the new firmware of the router from the web site and upgrade the firmware. REset the router and reconfigure the router. You will need to open the set up page of the router to upgrade the firmware.
You will need to download the firmware and burn the files to a cd-rom disc. First you double click on the downloaded file to extract the files to a folder. Then you will need to use the "burn image" setting in your cd burning software on your computer and burn those files to a cd-r disc. Then when you insert the disc into the Blu-Ray player it will start the update process. DO NOT DISTURB the player when the upgrade is happening and it usually takes about 30 minutes. Periodic upgrades will be needed with the player to be compatible with the new format of Blu-Ray discs. The full instructions are on the web page.
You just need to type Numark Hdx in your search engine or on numark's website, and they have the download for the firmware update. Download and burn to disk. Turn on your deck holding the eject button until it ask for you to insert the disk you burned. Go thru the prompts and let it install firmware *NOTE DO NOT TURN OFF DECK* or you will ruin it.
