Dvd door will not open to accept dvd
On mine I found that the small gear that drives the tray has too much slack and doesn't engage. I had to affix a paperclip to help it engage as I gently pulled from in front of the unit. Present looking for a drive replacement or I will repair myself.
No picture
Lately I cannot get a picture when I turn on the DVD operation--the TV screen, as always, is on INPUT (Extension).....the unit show PLAY, but the picture does not appear--and the TV screen stays blue! The audio is on, but no video....
This is something rather recent. However, if I unplug the electric-power source for the DVD-player, then sometimes the picture does appear, though not always.
I have checked the manual but find no good answer there. Please let me know what to do....many thanks.
Vcr/dvd has no sound or picture
Try cleaning the rotating playing head and the record head with a q-tip dipped in alcohol. Squeeze out the alcohol so it's not dripping. Make sure you unplug the unit before doing this. And give it a while to dry out before you plug it back in.
I can't get my DVD disc to eject. It will play but won't eject? Any suggestions
You should try unplugging the DVD player from its power source then plugging it back in. Now try to open it and if that doesn't work than you'll probraly have to take it apart to get the disk out but sometimes the DVD players can get worn out or if you have a cheaper DVD player it might just be freezing up on you. I have had these problems before. I just took the DVD player apart to get my disk and then trashed it.

No, you can't because the DV2150 is a DVD player and not a recorder. You can record a dvd to the VHS tape.

I have a GE universal remote RC2491-E. I need code
the codes for DVD/VCR COMBO units
for your model of universal remote
list GO-VIDEO as 230, 407, 426, 455
. . . which is not a definitive answer, I confess, as which of these four exactly I am unable to test in spite of your inclusion of the valuable information (ie: Model number.) and these are listed as 3-number codes, if 4 digits are required simply add a leading zero (eg: 0+230 . . . etc.) Thank you for being so thorough and precise; sorry I wasn't able to return the favor. Best of luck with these and I hope one may prove to be successful.
Best wishes,
