M-Audio Delta 1010LT Sound Sound Card Logo
Anonymous Posted on Aug 23, 2009

NO SOUND!!!! I have recently bought a new PC (asus M2N86 plus, Phenom II x4, 4gb RAM, 250gb HDD with 9400GT Nvidia Graphics card) with no OS. I then installed vista 32bit as the OS, updated all the drivers, then tried to install the M-audio 1010LT sound card. I downloaded the latest M audio 1010LT drivers (.exe) from M audio, and it is on my desktop. The problem is, Vista says it is unable to locate the driver, and the driver doesn't show up when manually locating file. There is absolutely no problem with the sound card, as my old PC (on XP) still works with no problems.Do I have to revert back to XP?

    Could you please explain why this is? Yet M-Audio have Vista drivers on there own website? what is going on here?

No video after boot up

Ahem.

Driver: Small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device.

The device in question is the graphics chipset.

The Operating System is now Windows 7 64-bit.

You were running Windows XP -> 32bit

(Have you got audio? Sound)

This is why I repeatedly try to tell people;

LOOK TO SEE IF DRIVERS ARE AVAILABLE,
before trying to upgrade to frickin Windows 7!

The reason Windows XP blue screened is because the Integrated Graphics of the Asus M4A785TD-V motherboard couldn\'t handle the game.

You need a graphics card. A PCI Express graphics card inserted into the BLUE PCI Express x16 expansion slot, on the motherboard.

(Remember; Install the software F-I-R-S-T, then unplug from power, FOLLOW Anti-Static Precautions; and THEN physically install the graphics card.
Software; The Installation Disk for the graphics card.
Has the Drivers, and user interface.
User Interface: Catalyst Control Center for ATI graphics cards;
Nvidia Control Center for Nvidia graphics cards)

Nvidia gfx card problem

It seems that the problem lays on your Ram,not the graphic card.And since the driver of graphics card is capturing some of your ram memory you are experiencing this error.

My pc is hanging while playing games...pls any one solve my problem? i cant play games in my pc.. when i starts to play my pc starts hanging... i formated my xp os.....then also no changes......yesterday...

It seems like you have either a thermal problem (processor cooler defective, undersized or incorrectly mounted) or a defective power supply. I'm about 90% sure that the problem is thermal.

Sli will not activate....... Vista 64 ultimate , 6 gigs of ram, 2 xfx 9400gt 1gig, amd phenom quad 2.5 , asus m2n sli deluxe

Hello raidon1449
Have you accessed BIOS(startup and start tapping F2) to see if SLI and not PCIexpress is selected?
The best thing that I can recommend with any SLI or Crossfire setup is to install the cards seperately at first to make sure they are working by themselves. Then install the cards in SLI or Crossfire configuration.

Nvidia geforce 9400gt 1gb card problem

The maximum performance of your video card is limited by the hardware you attach it to. In the display properties of Windows, your highest resolution is 1280x1024 because your monitor is not able to go any higher than this. This resolution is a typical maximum for a 17" monitor. Some 15" can do this, and some 19" can do this. In order to get a higher resolution, you'll need to get a bigger monitor with a higher native resolution. For example, a nice 24" monitor can only do 1920x1200. The video card can go higher, but it's limited by the monitor. 32bit color is your highest setting - that's 16 million colors. Your video card's 1GB of RAM only determines how much rendered data (usually 3D) it can store and move at any given moment, which is related to but not determined by your screen resolution. That's a very nice card - you should be able to get very good frame rates, color, and performance out of 32bit color and 1280x1024. If you want a higher resolution, you'll need to get a bigger monitor.

Did you plug in the power connector? If so make sure that your power supply is rated correctly.
