HELP! I just updated the bios of my computer and
I would check the bios and see if there is USB settings, maybe legacy USB was disabled? Though any recent webcams shouldnt care about that. Did you try a different port? Otherwise go into device manager and right click on the webcam and click uninstall, it will ask if you want to delete the driver files as well, say yes, then unplug the camera reboot, and plug the camera back in and let it re-detect and reinstall the drivers.

Well, how much have you got? and are you running a 32 or 64 bit OS? For the Max ram you can fit to your mobo go to the ASUS site and look at the spec for your board. If you have a 32 bit os you cannot use more than 3.7 GB of ram, you can use as much RAM as you can afford or will fit if you have a 64bit OS.

the drivers might have been corrupted by something foreign or you might have got a virus run your antivrus program
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have made the correct adjustments there
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can make adjustments there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar

You can't change the language in a legit install of Norton.
The only thing you can do is to uninstall it by running the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall the current Spanish version. You can use the following link

Download (as in Save, not Run) it, after the download is complete close the browser and launch the uninstaller. Reboot twice then reinstall NIS by using a new installer that you must download directly from Norton and your personal key.

If this is windows you may need to go to disk management and enable the drive or format it. Unless it is formatted windows will not assign a drive letter to it.
to do so go to control panel/administrative tools/computer management
once computer management is up find disk management, inside you will find all the drives that are connected to your computer, you should find a 80gb drive that may or may not have a partition. if it does not right click on it and say format or enable.

Good Motherboard...BTW... Reset BIOS to Factory defaults. Make sure you have the latest BIOS as well. Then you need to eliminate the other devices. Try running just on the On-Board Video...see if crashes. Run w 2 Gig Ram...same same... and of course the processor which may be impossible. Once you know it is MB or CPU... you make a choice which to buy or test. MB first... you can always return with less stress.
