Hangs when powering up. Pushed the Power Button, LCD Screen says Loading, BluRay Splash screens appears on the TV, then it turns itself off. I have unplugged the player for 15 minutes, held down the Eject button to get the disc out. Now the LCD Screen says, Waiting. I've been waiting for 30 minutes now. This has occurred after viewing Race to Witch Mountain.

SOURCE: When the Sony Bluray Player

After making sure that you have either connected the player to your TV via HDMI or component video, select the associated input on the TV. If you still have no picture, press the video button on the BDP-S300 remote until you get a picture.

A blu-ray player cleaner will not solve this problem.

My emachine tower won't turn on . I try un plugging it and plugging back and it doesn't work. Could it be that there something wrong with the motherboard or the hardrive?

> won't turn on

Remove the side-panel, and then press the ON button.
Do any fans start to turn? Feel any air coming out of the back of the power-supply?
Does pressing the button open/close the CD/DVD tray?
If not, then your power-supply has "blown", and must be replaced.

If the fans do turn, and the tray opens, but nothing happens on the screen,
e.g., no "splash" screen, nor any brief white-text "hardware-summary" appears,
then it's either the CPU or the motherboard which is the problem.

If you see the "splash" screen, or that "summary" screen, but Windows does not start to load, then the disk-drive either is not getting any power, or its "data" cable is not connected, or the disk-drive itself has "died".

It's time to take it to a qualified technician, for professional trouble-shooting.

JVC LCD TV LT-42X688-powers on, blank screen. no picture,no sound

You most definately have bad capacitors in the power supply. try and get it repaired as soon as possible, not an expensive repair that iv'e seen.
