Have you tried resetting the entire system using the reset button on the unit itself? Make sure the power is off to the remotes then once the unit resets, power up the remotes and reset them again.

Remove the spare battery (if any) and handsets from the base station. Navigate in the menus to the "base settings". Your screen should say "ringer volume, ringer melody, keypad tone, tone/pulse, ..." Punch in the reset code (including the stars): **335782 Wait for the phone to restart itself (about 5 seconds). Re-register all of your handsets.
Hey! I have the SAME exact handset. I HAD the same exact problem except this is what you NEED to do:
On the bottom on the handset, there are two "HOLES".
There's a smaller "rubberized" hole and to the right, a later "Double Layer" hole.
The a ball point pen and GENTLY push into the lager, "double layer" hole.
You will then hear a CLICK or a POP. THIS IS OKAY.
Your phone should now be placed on the charger for at least 25 hours prior to first use.
This procedure will ONLY need to be done ONCE.
This is necessary because the battery pack was factory installed by Uniden, therefore the installed battery is NOT "contacted" to the phone's circuit, yet.
WHEN YOU "CLICK" the SEAL w/ a BALL POINT PEN, you are "CLICKING A METAL CONTACT" inside the phone, which causes the battery to make contact with the phone.
After this, I AM SURE YOU WILL NOT have this problem again! :-)
There is no reset button, if you've confirmed that you have a good ground and sufficient voltage on the B+ and remote terminals, the ampifier is in need of repair.
If you're interested in troubleshooting/repairing it yourself, read through the following page to familiarize yourself with the inner workings of an amplifier.
A common problem on these amps is broken connections on the remote turn-on connector lug. If it's loose in the board, that would be the first thing you'd need to repair.
It is quite possible that you'll need to go into the menu settings on your base-unit and reset the unit or restore factory default, whichever option it gives you. Also, look in the menu on the phone to see if there is an option to reset the handset also. After resetting the unit and/or handsets, try to register the handsets again, one at a time. If that still does not fix the problem, you may have handsets that are not compatible with your system, or your system may not be able to support that many phones. However, if you have the right handsets, and your system can host that many handsets, then I'm confident that resetting the unit and re-registering your handsets should fix your problem. Hope this helps! Have a nice day!
I have repair some cordless phone a lot with your same problem .Your Handset is encountering a left over switch on your buttons what i mean is that the switching is logged. do some cleaning on the carbonized switch of the handset . check if there is moist assembling on switches if none try to clean the carbonized switch and keypad with alcohol cotton buds try also to swipe out the worn out carbon on the switch. if these wont help . your handset might have component damage already like an IC defect . that is why your phone wont work . It is best to bring you phone to the manufacturers service shop.
