Do you mean changer is a remote control? Try to use manual buttons to see whether the TV work. If it does not response either the problem comes from the input/output controler or main board.

Tv changer

Check the contact of the batteries in the remote "TV changer" by removing the battery cover and rotating or jiggling the batteries a little, to improve their electrical contact. If that doesn't work, try replacing the batteries. Finally, if the "TV changer" is capable of controlling more than one device, for example a DVD player or satellite TV box , make sure you set any switch that selects which device it controls to "TV".

TV CONTROL ON SAME FREQUENCY AS BOSE, HOW DO I CHANGE THE FREQUENCY TO STOP THE BOSE SYSTEM FROM RESPONDING TO MY TV REMOTE

Go through the BOSE manual to see if another channel can be chosen to control the system. If not, try and locate them farther apart and shield the remote with your hand to avoid signal from getting to the unwanted device.

New rca indoor antenna 1080i and cant get anything on tv , anybody that can help walk me hough it?

Well I just did this last night.
Its funny how everybody forgets to explain the basic tehnical stuff like setup and channel scaning.

We did not get any channels at first. but because I read internet a lot before on the subject, I knew that I had to do "channel scan".

ok first go to setup.. you have things on your tv changer or .. on the tv itself on the side back of it.
We have a new tv. Flat tv. if yuou have an old one you might have to get the digital exchanger thing that somebody mentioned previously.

If you do have flat newer tv..
first set up the tv to respond to antenna.
as the source.

then.. I had something that said.. digital off , and also antenna off. I had to change that to .. whatever other choice came up first.. and there were a lot of choices, like cc1 cc2 t1 t2 and so on.
I changed it to c1 or cc1 something like that.. on analog. that got us few channels. then I changed the digital one also to something.

I still have to tinker with it.. but we had only few channels and they are clear.

I have an RCA kitchen television. It just stopped responding. I get to cable using comcast and they suggested that I call you since they are getting a proper signal. The TV must be on channel 3 in order...

Hi
It seems that your TV's memory IC has damged. If this IC got damged, no fromt panel or remote signals will work. It is a small IC . It can be found very near to channel selector main IC [System control]. It is very cheap to buy. But replacing it is a skilled work. You have to contact any experienced service technician to get it replaced. This IC controls most of the functions in the Tv. OK.

Remote will not work tv.

A working TV remote is a security blanket that allows us the peace of mind of knowing that we don't have to get up unless nature calls or the house catches on fire. People are more likely to spend more time and energy to fix their TV remote than to get up and change the channel. There are a number of simple fixes that can ease your mind when your TV remote is not working.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); }); Difficulty: Easy Instructions Things You'll Need:

  • New Batteries
  1. Check the batteries. Make sure the batteries are in correctly and, if they are, replace the batteries. If the batteries are dead or are not in correctly, your remote will not respond and the LED light will not illuminate when a button is pressed. Make sure the TV is plugged in. An unplugged TV will not respond to any remote.
  2. Check the selected input to make sure the remote is set on the TV and not some other device programmed into the remote, such as your DVD player, VCR, or video game console.
  3. Reprogram the sync code. If you are using a universal remote, it may have deprogrammed, leaving the remote and TV out of sync.
  4. Unplug the TV for a few minutes. During a power surge, a TV can become "confused." Unplugging it for a few minutes will give the TV the break it needs to sort everything out and work properly with your remote.
  5. Use another remote on the TV. Program a universal remote to work with the TV. If the TV does not respond, the problem is likely with the TV and not the remote control.
