The unit wont work with just ice bottles. It needs water to run down the pads to create the evaporative effect. The tank should have a drain somewhere. Look down the bottom of the machine for a plug or tap that can be removed / unscrewed to drain the water out.

SOURCE: images upside down and backwards

The ADF does nothing more than feed the document into a position to be scanned, and has nothing to do with print issues " stripes" on print? Can you provide more details.

Typically you will find an icon near on the tray of the ADF which will display the proper orientation for the item to be scanned. If this is correct, then your software is somehow manipulating the image to a different orientation. You may want to check the scanned image before printing, and check the printer settings. More likely a printer problem, than a scanner problem as I have understood the issue thus far.

SOURCE: sink drain slow

You can purchase a device from Home Depot that will clean out the drain. In the plumbing business, we call it a blow bag. But some call it drain dog and so on. It's a black rubber bag that fills with water and then when it reaches a certain pressure it blocks the drain but runs water through it until the clog is dislodged. You attach it to a water hose and push it into the drain as far as you can get it. Run it for 15 to 20 min. and then pull it back out. There are several sizes to accomadate the pipe size. You sill need the one that does pipes up to 2 inches. You will have to remove your drain assymbly under the sink to do this. While you have the drain assymbly off, you can make sure it is clean as well. This will clean out the garbage that collects in the pipe. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: We have a 9000 btu portable frigidare air

How high up is your exhaust hose in relation to the unit - if it is too hight, the pump may be struggling to discharge the water.

I assume this is a vented model, where you have a large diameter pip exhausting air outside (Around 110mm wide) if so, is there also a smaller pipe to carry the condensate water?

SOURCE: Ice build-up on GE ZDW24A wine cooler cooling coil

Probably the thermostat is bad , you can bypass it by putting together the two wires from the thermostat and if the unit starts working ,replace the thermostat ;only do this if you havesome knowledge of electrical work and be very carefull.

SOURCE: Water Cooler - Water has mildew taste

I just put about six cups of white vinegar (not diluted) into the reservoir and let it sit for about an hour. Then I emptied that out and flushed a few pitchers of very hot water through. It seems to have worked quite well.

How much water do i put in cool blast air cooler model no. VQJ

I just got mine too and the directions are very confusing.

It says 6.6 gallons of water but it also says ice is much better to use. So I say put some ice cubes in as many as you think and then fill the rest with water?? Also you can fill those 2 bottle with water and freeze them then you can put them in with the water. Just make sure to hook them on to the cord that's provided where the water goes!!

Bottles won't drain, seems to be air pressure issue

not understanding how it works will get you that assumption
the full bottle will slowly empty when the water level in which it sits gets low enough for the atmospheric pressure to displace the water and let in an air bubble
That way there is always water for the unit to work
Same principle as the bottled water drink coolers in the office
putting a hole in the bottle and you will have water all over the floor
you need to check the humidity level of the air because if it is too high then the system will not work and so the bottles will not empty--really simple principle

Plugged drain

Need to completely defrost freezer. hot rags, hot water, paper towels, etc. Until you get all the ice out you don't have a chance of unclogging the drain. Could be just ice clogging it too which in that case hot water will solve that as well. If it's something else clogging the drain, I've used a mini bottle brush to unclog them or even a stiff piece of solid wire.

Dynacool portable evaporative cooler

First, I'm not a Dynacool Tech,
* I remember having one as a kid. You need to fill it with water for the circulator (pump) to work and drip water over a filter that has a fan blowing through it. The water evaporates and cools the air as it flows through (It also increases the humidity).
* here is a Honewell manual. Check out page 12. There should be enough information to get you started.
https://www.sylvane.com/media/documents/products/honeywell-cs071ae-evaporative-cooler-owner%27s-manual.pdf
* Final, Check your warranty and call for service. (though I can't seem to locate a current phone # or web site. May have gone under or bought out.)
* about upgrading to a newer model. There have been many changes to Air conditioning and heating. Many are more efficient and built with newer technology as this evaporative cooling method was used in the 1940's and popular in the 1970's. Check out your local stores and show rooms. Also check Home Depot and Lowe's for home air conditioners

We have a true upright, glass front beer cooler. TBB-4-G refrigerated back bar. The bottles and cans right in the middle are icing up and forming huge blocks of ice. we have turned up the thermostat,...

Check your evaporator drain pan and the outlet for the condensate water, and make sure the drain tubing is clear. That water is supposed to drain outside the box.

How do you clean the baby pro bottle warmer?

Ice container, measuring containers, and baskets: Dishwasher-safe (top rack only).

Measuring containers should be placed in a dishwasher basket. Or wash in warm water
using mild liquid soap. Rinse with clear water.

Bottle Warmer unit and removable cooler: Always turn OFF and unplug before cleaning.
Wipe surface of unit as well as inside of cooler and cooler lid, and inside of warming
chamber with a damp cloth or sponge using mild liquid soap. Wipe with clear water. Air dry.
Do not immerse in water. Do not use scouring pads, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as
these could damage the unit.

Warming chamber (optional): Mineral deposits (usually white in color) may form on the
inner surfaces of the warming chamber and can cause damage to the unit. To remove them:
1. Unplug the unit.
2. Remove the basket, and wash separately as indicated above.
3. Pour 2 oz. vinegar into the warming chamber and let it stand for an hour or two (longer if
necessary).
4. Pour out the vinegar and rinse the chamber two or three times by pouring in, then
emptying out, 3 or 4 oz. of plain tap water. Do not immerse the Bottle Warmer in water.
Wipe dry or air dry.

There should be no crack or pin hole in your water bottle.
Water bottle should be air-tight to make proper pressure inside bottle.
Whenever lose pressure, water overflow with no bubble.
Just replace water bottle with no crack or pin hole.

HELP l need instructions for Homebase LF320 air cooler

I have the same unit, also given to me, and there really isn't much to it. Remember, it's an 'air cooler, not an air conditioning unit. Works fine as a floor standing fan on L, M and H settings (lo, med and high) but, if you want the air to cool slightly, freeze the blue ice packs and then put them in the base of the unit and top up with cold water until the level indicator on the front says full (red ball hits red arrow, like in a kettle). Then, turn on as normal and run the 'Cool' function along with your desired fan setting (L, M or H). I tend to add a few extra ice packs. The 'Cool' setting drags a fiber membrane into the water and over the intake surface, thus cooling the air slightly. Nothing like real air con but better than nothing on a day like today. 'Swing' throws the air around a little and 'Mode' gives you bursts of air, and that's about it to be honest...

Thermal coupling in wine chiller

No, I would not recommend putting water into the chill chamber since if there is a "gap" hole in this compartment, the water could get inside the unit's electronics etc.. which could at the very least short the unit and at worst electrocute you as you take the bottle out/touch the unit. That's the problem with this or any other Peltier/thermoelelectric type of chiller. They are only good for maintaining an ALREADY cold bottle's temperature, not for chilling it rapidly. There is no good or inexpensive way to get better chilling from these types of units. It's the law of themodynamics and heat transfer. Water is the best/safest/most inexpensive medium to use, not chilled air or even super cold air. Cold air or even super cold air just does not match the chilling potential of a liquid like water. The reason why 50F air is no problem, for you to be out in for hours, but 50F water you'll get hypothermia in 20-30 mins.

The best unit for chilling a warm wine bottle is the cooper cooler. Go to www.coopercooler.com. It uses ice and water and sprays the ice cold water over the bottle while spinning it to chill it quickly. This unit is great since it can also chill single serve drinks like beer/soda etc so is more versatile than the other chillers. Cheapest is about $59 which is much less than the waring at ~$100

BEER COOLER ICE PROBLEM

First, dont overstock your beer, good circulation is key. Make sure your condenser coils are clean. Find a happy setting with the help of a thermometer to cool between 35 - 42 degrees. To defrost I put big zipl-loc bags of ice on top of beer. Turn temperature all the way up (the compressor will cut off but the fan will keep running) for a few hours. When the ice is thick i put HOT water in a squirt bottle and spray sections in the ice. Play around with that and see if it works. Hopefully you don't have a bad condenser. Good luck!
