SOURCE: wireless mouse not working

We had the same problem and just found this solution, we don't know how long it will work for!

http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/aspnet/29649087/usb-mouse-wireless-proble.aspx

hey - i think i actually found the answer.
there is a reset button on the bottom of the mouse.
and there is a reset button on the receiver that plugs into the USB. click them both and vuualla! - it works again....
we'll see how long this lasts.
(most blogs tell users to just exchange the set, it's poorly designed)
good luck -

SOURCE: Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

I had the same problem.
Press the button on the underside of the USB, the green light will flash. Now press the reset button on the underside of the mouse. Your mouse should now work.

SOURCE: the wireless mouse works but the laser 5000

press connect on the wireless device...let go and then within 5 seconds press the button on the bottom of the keyboard. Repeat the same steps for the mouse whther its working or not. The problem usually is that the keyboard and mouse are on the same "Wireless Channel" and only resyncing them puts them on a seperate channel, hope this helps.

ONN wireless mouse 100009057 stopped working

ONN is Walmart's bargain basement brand of electronics all made in China at the lowest possible price point. They have failed within the warranty period, so return them for refund and buy a Microsoft or Logitech mouse. My Logitech is over 12 years old!

What are the buttons on the side of mouse

The buttons are settable to what the user prefers in the control panel for this mouse, if you have the right drivers..

See this post for more information about the drivers. Looks like Microsoft Intellipoint works for this.

Onn wrieless mouse is not working

Try replacing the batteries in the mouse. Sometimes the light will still come out of the bottom of the mouse - but the wireless signal is no good.

Also - after you replace the batteries in the mouse, click the sync button on the USB part that plugs into your computer, and then immediatly click the sync button on the bottom of the mouse.

That should do it!

There could be several other factors influencing the behaviour of your optical mouse. Have you tried cleaning the lens underneath and also used a contrasting mouse mat on your table?
The range of this mouse is very limited (3ft) and you might have some interference from other devices around (like cordless phone, wireless devices and so on)

Check the following 2 sites for more troubleshooting ideas. Also the microsoft site referenced below provides some software you can download to diagnose better.

Wireless Mouse on a laptop with built inTouchpad on the keyboard

No need to disable the touchpad they should both work at the same time. Have you tried both the mice on another PC?. The first mouse should have the correct software already installed but you will most probably need to install software for the microsoft mouse. I hope you have tried resetting by hitting the button on the receiver then while its flashing the button on bottom of the mouse? If all this fails do have any other USB devices you can test on laptop?......good luck

PS I hope its not the batteries
