Start the computer in "safe mode" (press F8 when it's booting). Then remove the driver and reboot. Re-install the driver and then be careful about the resolution you pick.
Dell 8100 is a tower and you can replace it with any video card and get better performance with a replacement.
PN typically means Part Number so that is probably correct. Also, if you call Dell support, if you give them the pc serial number, they should be able to tell you the part number of the video card. If it is out of warranty, just explain to them you just need the part number
