Hello Dennis, tell what computer you have, make and model, to try to find the best possible solution
If you have a Notebook, usually you will find in the upper bar of keys, the Functions, two or three keys that has the drawing of a speaker, one is to lower the volume, the other to go up and if there is a third key is what Mute does, so that these keys fulfill the mission of raising or lowering you have to press them simultaneously with the Function key (fn), which is usual to find it in the lower bar of keys, on the left side of the keyboard, next to the Control key (ctrl)
See if with these indications you can hear the sound
But comment, make and model
I hope you can solve it
Greetings Franco Dosil
Sino comenta, marca y modelo
Espero que puedas resolverlo
Saludos Franco Dosil

How do I make the volume from my speakers louder than my computer speakers?

depending on the auxiliary speakers you have, there needs to be a power source (either batteries, a power supply, or an ac cord); and the power needs to be turned on. Symptom sounds like you don't have the external power connected or turned on.

Where do I pug the speakers in ? I need a Picture,Show me the picture.

    • 1 Remove the Dell A215 speakers from the box. Place the speakers in your computer area. The speaker with the volume knob is the right speaker and should sit to the right of your keyboard. Place the other speaker to the left of your keyboard.
    • 2 Plug the left speaker into the right speaker. The left unit has an orange-brown plug that connects to a similarly colored port on the back of the right unit. The other end of the cord is fixed to the rear of the left speaker.
    • 3 Insert the two-prong end of the power adapter into an electrical outlet. Plug the other end into the black power port on the back of the right speaker.
    • 4 Insert the main audio cable into your computer. This cable is fixed to the back of the right speaker and has a green head. Plug the green connector to the green audio-out port on your computer. This port may be on the front or back of desktops or on either side of a laptop.
    • 5 Turn the knob on the right speaker clockwise to turn the speakers on and increase the volume. Turn it counterclockwise to lower the volume partially or all the way to turn the speakers off. The speakers should work automatically on any computer with a sound card.
Let me know if this solved the problem and good luck..

I have a set of SUN-115H speakers that has a volume problem. When testing with DXDIAG, you can hear the sound but it is very faint even with the volume knob turned to full. Any ideas? ? ?

Is the power to the speakers correct? Since these are computer speakers, have you checked that the volume on the computer is turned up all the way? Have you tried the speakers on another computer or portable radio of something?

There is no sound from my computer

Connect the AC power-adapter to the speakers.

Turn the speakers on, and check that they "hiss" when turned to 100% volume.

Connect the speakers to another computer, to verify that they work on at least _ONE_ computer.

Connect a different set of speakers to your computer, to verify that your computer is sending sound to the speakers.

On the computer, "unmute" the speakers.

On the computer, open the Sound Mixer application, and be sure that the sliders for "volume" are maxed-out.

Need driver for my harman/kardon HK206. Unable to get sound...

If you are unable to get sound from speakers, chances are it's your computer and not the speakers. Speakers do not require a driver to work, the computer has to have the audio driver to make speakers work. To test this theory, simply turn speakers on and plug them into an mp3 player or cell phone (anything with 3.5 mm jack) and turn volume up - should have sound. What you will need to do is find model computer and look for audio driver for that computer.

Lost my Manual, where I do connect that speaker wire behind that speaker base?

Usually you will plug the little speakers into the big speaker, and then plug your big speaker into the computer - usually the green plug in on the back of the computer. It might also be a USB plug. If it is a USB plug, then you will have to download a driver from the companys website for that specific model - usually found in the Support section. After you install, you might have to reboot your computer.

Also, make sure you plug the power for the speakers into the wall and turn on any power buttons. Some speakers have a volume control on them. Make sure this is turned up and then make sure your computer volume is turned up (check this through: Control Panel > Sound and look at the levels and settings there. Also, under playback devices make sure that your speaker jack you have them pluged into is set as the default.

Hope this helps.

Speakers Plugged In Right But Wont Turn On??

If the power light on the speakers isn't on, then the power supply going to the speakers is either in a bad outlet (test the outlet with a voltage meter) or the plug isn't firmly seated. Best of luck in your new home and hope this solves your problem.

Computer Speakers

Try turning the volume on the computer volume control up and turn the volume control on the speakers down, or try the other way, turn the volume control on your speakers up, and the volume control on the computer down. I've had this problem before and this was the way I found a resolution.
