Hello Scott, to be able to guide you, in wiring so that you can have everything in your home theater system, you should comment that equpos you have
I can suggest a generic connection to have the sound of each source in Tu Onkyo
You have to connect the equipment that has HDMI output, in the corresponding entries in your Onkyo, accounts with only three inputs, if you have more than three equipment with HDMI, you can connect it to an HDMI input on the TV
If you have other equipment that does not have an HDMI output, you should connect it to the remaining inputs of the Onkyo, according to its type
Then, you connect an HDMI-HDMI cable from the HDMI output of the Onkyo, to the HDMI 1 input, of the TuTV Insignia
And you also have to have a Fiber Optic cable, connected from the digital audio output of the TV (it is located on the side panel of connections) to the Fiber Optic input (Digital In) n ° 1 of the Onkyo, this connection allows you to listen to the sound on the Onkyo of everything you are looking for on the Internet, eg Netflix, YouTube, etc.
In this way you would already have everything connected in the Onkio and you could enjoy the sound of the Home Cinema System
I hope you manage to interconnect everything and you can enjoy a good sound and an excellent image
I send you the links of the user manuals of TV Insignia and Onkyo, in case you need more information

SOURCE: new home theater setup- no signal at tv using onkyo tx=sr605

This might somewhat help. Today I went back .. I went HDMI out of the Cable box and DVD player into 2 of the TVs HDMI ins. The digital audio out from each, straight to the receiver and things are working ok. All speakers are working OK. Sound isnt as loud or crisp but unfortunately I found no other solution.

SOURCE: Onkyo TX-DS777 does not retain settings after power loss

No internal battery, a large "SuperCap" on the main board acts as one. Look for C8007, 0.1 F, 5.5V.

Codes for many of our TVs can be found at InsigniaProducts.com. For the Blu-ray player, we recommend using your universal remote's scan or learning feature.

ONKYO TX-SR307. Problem with volume/sound getting lower. "Setup" does not alter / resolve the issue. Please help

Hi, if this has not been resolved please try the following reset:

To do the reset you need to turn the receiver on, then on the front panel of the receiver press and hold the "VCR/DVR" button while doing that press the "STANDBY/ON" button. You will see the word "Clear" in the display screen and the receiver will go into standby mode. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR AUDIO & VIDEO ASSIGNMENTS ON THE RECEIVER PLUS YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR SPEAKER CONFIGURATIONS, SPEAKER DISTANCE AND ALL LEVEL CALIBRATION SETTINGS. YOU WILL ALSO LOSE ANY PROGRAMMED RADIO STATIONS IN MEMORY. Once the receiver goes into standby mode turn it back on and go thru the setup menu for all custom settings, Thanks, JT

Key the model into the search field.

Now, what setting are we talking about? The word 'decode' isn't even in the manual?
