Hey hi Barry I am not sure if you are on a phone or
Computer either you can enhance the pictures or type by going into settings on your phone
Accessibility.
Magnification Gesture needs to be on
Font size needs to be set large
Or Display Size needs to be set large or XL.
Or if it is on a web site if you tap your phones screen
And spread your fingers it will enhance the display .
Now if that doesn't work you can go to the library and
Have it printed exlarge.

You don't see what kind of computer manual you need but the best thing to do is to go on line and download an electronic copy of the manual, usually from the manufacturers,
Once you have that you should be able to read it with a pdf reader such as adobe, (or whatever reader format the electronic file requires).
With electronic readers you can enlarge the font to suit yourself.
Good luck

SOURCE: need larger typeface for easier

there are a couple of ways you can get larger font. On your keyboard you may have a "zoom" button with a +(larger) and -(smaller), where you can adjust your font up and down as necessary. If you have a tools icon at the top right of your screen, might look like a gear, click on that and see if there is "zoom" in there, click on that and click on font size you need, again you can adjust up and down as required. You can also click on "start", lower left of your screen, find "control panel" and click on that. In your list(icons) you should see "adjust font size(DPI) at upper left of your screen. Click on that and then click on continue. You should see "larger font size" with a empty circle on the left. Click on the empty circle to select, or, you may want to click on "custom DPI"(lower right) to do a custom size. I recommend going with the first option and resatrt for it to take effect. If this is not the size you want, you can then try the custom DPI. Make sure you restart after each change of font size. If you figured out you zoom, you can now still adjust the size there also.

It needs cleaning. Are there instructions on the best way to do it?

really about the only thing an operater should clean would be the typefaces. I use a pin or needle to carefully remove clumps of ink from typefaces and then use a cloth dampened with alcohol to finish

Typewriter keys only print half a letter

In general, there are two possible causes for this symptom. 1. The ribbon is not fully in front of the typeface at impact. 2. The typeface is not in the proper position at impact. Depending on the model of typewriter there can be different causes for these two conditions, for instance, on a manual typewriter, that has a manual shift key, it is possible that the segment which travels up and down when depressing the shift, is not in the proper position, thus , when the typeface contacts the paper, the curvature of the typeface does not match the curvature of the platen. This can cause the top or the bottom of letters not to print. Likewise on an IBM Wheelwriter, it is possible for the platen itself to be loose which can cause just the top of letters to print. Observe the ribbon lift position and installation. Check the hammer, printwheel, platen,

Typeface too big for monitor

Open the preferences menu in your browser and set the desired font sizes. It is possible someone has set minimum font size to too large a value. This works in Firefox. I am not sure about IE, as I don't use that crappy program unless i am forced to.
It is usually best to set minimum font sizes and allow the site to set the font to any value greater than the set value. Make this value the size you can read comfortably. Warning, anything smaller than 8 points is hard to read,

Bookmark/Save a pdf document

You may need Quarkto achieve this, I print them from QuarkXpress v4.1 using "PrintToPDF". This works like a printer driver but it converts any blue, underlined Courier text to a hyperlink (e.g. http://www.The-Cool-Book-Shop.co.uk ) and it creates a "bookmark" link for any text which is set in a specific typeface (e.g. Helvetica 14pt bold) and secondary "bookmark" from any text set in another typeface (e.g. Verdana 12pt). So all I have to do is ensure that my required links are in the correct typeface then select "PrintToPDF" in the "Chooser" and the job is done!
