That's a pretty broad question, what type of amp? Typically a amp has power/remote/ground. Power comes from the positive of your battery, remote from the remote wire on the back of your deck (typically blue) and ground is to the body of the car if it's a smaller amp.

Trying to set up Bose 901 series VI to a Nakamichi AV 500 also what gauge speaker wire from amp to speakers

Plain old 18ga lamp cord is fine unless the run is long (over 50', say). Then use 16 ga. Be sure to observe correct phase. Speaker wire is color coded, lamp cord has a ridge on one side. Be sure to always connect the same color or ridge to the same connection (ex: red on amp to copper color wire to red or + on speaker). Do not use "speaker wire" that is smaller than 18go (higher number = smaller).

Fahrenheat md26r

This thermostat is a DPST (Double Pole Single Throw) type meaning it will switch BOTH pairs of wires either ON or OFF. It is a type used primarily for 220 - 240 volt circuits and can switch up to 22 amps of load current. Most heaters will provide a wattage rating and some also provide a current rating as well. Since most electric heat circuits are connected to a 2 pole 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker (or fuses) via #12 copper wires it should work well. If connected to a circuit greater than 20 amps - as long as the heaters connected to the circuit do not draw more than 22 amps will also work fine.

If all is well so far, the continue. The thermostat should have 4 wires. Two of one color, two of another (black and red are common colors). One color group will be the LINE (powered) side, and the other group is the LOAD (heater) side. You should verify WHICH color group is which for best results. The switch will open and close a connection between the LINE wires and the LOAD wires.

The thermostat should be installed in an electrical switch box located on an interior wall at about 5 feet high and not above any heater or heat source. Do not locate it behind a door that swings open, etc. The box should be supplied by a circuit from the electrical panel that will connect to the LINE side color group wires *and* a circuit that will extend from the thermostat's LOAD color group wires to the heater's wire connections / terminals.

If running common #12/2 (for a 20 amp circuit breaker) or #14/2 (for a 15 amp circuit breaker) romex cable from the panel will have the Black and White wires connected to the thermostat's LINE wires and the Black and White wires in the #12/2 or #14/2 romex cable from the heater will be connected to the thermostat's LOAD wires. The ground wires will connect to each other AND a short length of the same size wire should be run from this same point to each: the ground terminal screw of the thermostat and (if using a metal electrical box) to the electrical switch box with a separately purchased green ground screw designed specifically for this purpose. Plastic boxes are not grounded.

Whats colors are what for my weatherproof security camera it has four wires

Red & Black is the power wires (Red +) & (Black -). The other two wires are probably the video signal (normally green & white). If you have a separate coaxial connection for the video signal, the other two wires could be for zoom lens control.Look up the make & model on line and check out the specs. Hope it helps. Ed

How do you connect the dvd player to the lcd

On the dvd player and the tv you will see three (or more) colored connectors. These are color coded yellow, red amd white. One is for audioleft, another for audio right, and the third is video. You can get the cable with the colors so all you need to do is plug the ends into the same color connectors.
thats about as complicated as it gets. Then you need to look at your tv and select source or antenna. That tells the tv where the signal is coming from. you watch your movie and flip the source back to cable or where it finds your normal tv stuff.

You can get the cabes almost anywhere these days. the dollar store around the corner here sells them cheaper than the tv or electronics stores. I think the larger grocery stores even have some. So you don;t need to worry about spending a lot to get good ones. Very little difference in reality. Only thing is to make sure you get it long enough so you can put the dvd where you want or need to and try to get the 3 cable wih color coded ends.

How dou you connect the electical wires I connected them and it throws the breaker

Look at rating plate on motor.
Look for volts, watts, amps.
Figure with Volts x Amps = Watts.
Amps = Watts divided by Volts
1 hp horsepower is 756 Watts.

Lets say you have 120Volt 2hp motor
So 2 horsepower motor draws 1500 Watts
Amps = 1500 Watts divided by 120Volts = 12.5 amps = so you need 120Volt 15 amp breaker with at least 14gauge wire (as long as motor is located within 50 feet of breaker.)
If motor is farther away, then you need 20 amp breaker with 12gauge wire.

Look at circuit breaker rating.
If motor is 240 and breaker is 120, then it will trip breaker.
If motor is 120 and breaker is 240, then it will trip breaker.
If breaker is for 15 amps and motor draws 20 amps then it will trip breaker.

Generally speaking, if motor and breaker are 120V, then black wire goes to black wire; white wire goes to white wire and green wire connects to bare copper wire.
If motor and breaker are 240V, then wire colors can be different. Black-red or Black-white from breaker connect to Black-red or Black-white at motor.

Add a comment. Say the motor rating and color of motor wires. Say the breaker size and color of wires coming from breaker and I will help you wire the device.

RJ11-e starts off like a RJ45 Stranded Patch Cable.
The color code used in stranded patch cables is different from solid-conductor cables. For NorTel Digital Patch Cable (DPC), the coding is; Pair 1: Green & RedPair 2: Yellow & BlackPair 3: Blue & *Orange White\Black
*In Pair 3 the color coding is Blue & Black instead of Blue & Orange and the pair is twisted so that the Blue wire is the 6th pin instead of the 5th pin.
