Looking for a manual for A Samsung SSC security system
Hi,
Am not familiar with an SSC-960, there are however SVR-960 (4 versions) by
Samsung.
Normally Samsung follows similar installation procedures and the differences in
their model are advance features and the length of recording time. If this could be of any help,
this link
is a users’ manual for a 1280 hrs model. It includes installation procedures.
Alternately you can try Google for “svr 960 pdf” but when I tried it most that
I can get are German language versions.
Hope this
be of some help/idea. Good luck and kind
regards.

Camera's won't work
1. check connection wires and terminals are connected correctly there is no struggle in the cable or the cabling has been damage.
2. check the other three cameras the most simple is to connect the cameras that doesnt work in the terminal that does work!
I have two samsung ssc-12c cameras.
green wire : 12v dc
clear wire : video ( + )
wire around clear wire : video and 12 vlt ground ( - )
you don't used the rest of wires . rest are audio .
Can my camera connect directly or through a router
if it is an IP cam then yes you will need a router to connect it to you NVR. there is normally an option to connect coaxle (RG59) cable on the back of an IP cam but this is not recomended as the quility may be poor.

SSC-12c Cameras with SSC-17web monitor
That will happen with pretty much any camera on the planet.
I have a suggestion... use a slightly tinted glass on the enclosures, or get the 2% (or whichever one you think will be enough) tint film used on car windows, and put a square of it on the enclosure glass.

Hi there, depend on the model of your cameras, normally if there are
samsung it should say the model # (
ssc-12c,soc-c120 and so on) What look like CAT-5 are normally RJ-11 very similar to a phone connector. If your cameras are one those mentioned above you will need a monitor that support that type of connection like the ssc12m or
ssc-17webm if there are black and white or the
SMT-190M if there are color cameras. or a DVR with similar connection type like the SHR-1041.
Thank You,

Daylight picture whiteout on samsung sc-12 c
Well the conditions exceed the camera's ability. I suggest that you call Samsung and see if they have the solution. A filter lense may help during the day, but hinder after dark...
SAMSUNG SSC21WEB
It's a quad. It records all 4 cameras at the same time. You can display 1 cam at a time. If you play it back, you have to hit the buttong that displays the corresponding camera you want to review.
I have a ssc-12m monitor that seems to power cycle
remove power; remove the cover with a multimeter on "ohms" check the fuses look over the circuit board for burned components, leaking "domed" leaking capacitors next using component coolant from radioshack cool the i.c.'s as you turn on and, off the monitor.
I am hooking up a camera w/out knowing which wire is what
red and ground are most likely for 12 volt as you indicated.
white should be your video out which will work with the ground that comes out of the camera.you can connect these wires to a cable that will be termintated with the proper connector at your dvr
I have 3 outside cameras (SSC-12C) hooked up need cameras
i recommend pelco day night dome camera they are cheap and the resolution is great. they are originally bnc type connector which usually take rg59 or rg6 coax cable but if you have like cat5 or some other kind of stranded wire you can by a balum adaptor that takes stranded wire but has a bnc female end. now with your monitor they make a cheap device called a multiplexer it takes bnc connectors and to hook up to your monitor you can use regular adio video cables like for your vcr. the multiplexer also lets you scan thru your cameras one at a time or have all three up or it can scan thru by itself like every five minuets.
