I have borrowed my parents K2, I switched it off to relocate the front of the house and now it isnt working. i have changed the fuse and different socket but nothing?? any ideas?

I think the K settings are for the frequency that the remote and the receiver work on. If the opener is set at K2, the remote has to be set at K2. This is done by looking inside the remote for the K switches, and making sure it matches the opener. You can change these settings if other signals seem to operate your door opener.

the oil preasure switch is always mostly located where the wires go to the oil preasure switch usually beside the oil filter

The red wire from the stereo is 12v signal, basically when you turn the key on it send 12v to the red wire to make your stereo come on. Everything else is fine since you can insert and eject cds. You may have pulled the signal wire loose when you changed the ignition switch, check the wires behind the radio and the wires to the ignition switch.

Both front and rear heaters run off different fuses so check the owner's manual for the location of the fuse and replace it. If you don't have the owner's manual a Haynes or Chilton's manual will also have the fuse box diagram and are very useful to own.

Check underneath the steering wheel or in the side of the dash by the driver door. Should be a fuse access panel.

hey kempster_rob the problem is in the wiring between the doors and the body, the wiring is short and is constructed wrong, so when you after 3000 openings and closings the wires brakes and either loose connection or makes shortcuts between the different cables causing fuse blows and disrupted working electrical system. Solution is to open the isolation around the cables and either repair them or displace them, its possible to buy a repair kit at the peugeot dealer
