It probably doesn't work and you should get a refund and buy a new one. (:

SOURCE: logitech speakers will only play on 2 speakers not 5

Liamog, i bought the exact same speakers and sound card, and i had the exact same problem as you. I tried for days to fix it and it turns out that its only a setting you have to enable in your sound card settigns. If you go into your EAX console for your creative sound card you will find a thing that sams CMSS 3D, and all you have to do is select the button that says Enable CMSS 3d surround. I hope this will fix your problem. Alex.

SOURCE: Sound not coming from left side surround sound speaker or my right side front speaker

it is highly likely that you're TV is outputting mono sound, hence the left channel only. check your physical connections to the TV and the balance / channel volume on the television as well.

SOURCE: Logitech x-530 rear speakers and Center speaker not working

you have to go to your audio output setup (try to look for an audio-related icon on your taskbar - next to time display)
setup your audio output for 6 channel or 5.1channel output (depending on software)
follow on-screen description of where to plug in your speaker jacks - green, peach and black.
enjoy...

SOURCE: for my logitech z-4 speakers,

googled the same exact prob. and found this forum. after reading through the postings to get some ideas, I went back to my speaker set and unplugged the serial port that hooks up to the remote. blew on the connector and plugged it back in and VIOLA! I got sound from the left speaker again! Must be my awesome, smelly breathe that woke up the left speaker....

I purchased a new desktop PC with Windows 7, & I'm trying to find out what the correct connection is for the Logitech X-530 Speakers is. That is, can I get all the 5 speakers to work at the same time?

It depends on the sound-card in the PC.

The "back-left" and "back-right" speakers require special connections to the sound-card.
The "left" and "right" and "centre" speakers are connected to the "main-stereo-audio-out" on the sound-card, as per normal.

Z-2300 Left Speaker and port dont work

did you try plugging in the other speaker into the yellow output. If you can hear music doing that then its only your left speaker that is the problem. Try tapping the faulty speaker into the palm of your hand while connected. There might be a faulty contact to the actual cone of the speaker. I had to open mine up because i had the same problem. It turned out that it was the wires that weren't making contact. I scrapped and moved them around connected the speaker and it worked. I hope that i made some sense out of this. good luck.

Logitech Z-5500

Well you have some options, you can either live with 2 speakers and change the settings back to default. Im assuming the colors you have are orange black and green. black= the surround sound speakers. orange= center and subwoofer. green=right left front

Now if u want true surround sound then you need to buy a new card that had all the ports for your speakers.

Only the right speaker (and the subwoofer) works. The left one doesn't, but it is NOT faulty!

Go to Start/Programs/accessories/entertainment/volume control. And check the left channel as not be muted by ticking the mute box. Check also all other sources of channel control- via the sound card and the computer built in one.
