My Samsung Heatpump dryer DV70F5EOHGW is showing the HE error. Is there any way I can fix it myself?

I found a Samsung repair guy, who came promptly. I watched closely: centre two buttons "Time" & "Anti-crease" cleared the error message. Back in action now. I hope this saves someone else the hassle trying to get help (& paying!).

SOURCE: BCM Problem ... Lost Contacts

The BCM uninstallation doesn't delete your databases. They should still be on your computer here:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application

With either a *.mdf or *.ldf extension. Those are SQL databases which you can get the data off and into a CSV file which you can import into outlook (of course technical expertise is needed) or you could more easily (once the problem with BCM is resolved), make BCM re-recognize the databases by following these instructions:

1. Go into BCM and create a new database. That database needs to match the
name of the .MDF file. So if the MDF file is named "MyBusiness.MDF", create
a new BCM Database with that name

2. Stop the MSSQL$MICROSOFTSMLBIZ Server by going to Start > Run >
services.msc and selecting the MSSQL$MICROSOFTSMLBIZ service
3. Copy the original .mdf & .ldf files over the blank database. They should
be in the following location
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Business Contact Manager

4. Start the Server again (see step 2)
5. Restart BCM and see if you can access your data

which I found here (credit to Larry from the Lockergnome's forums).

If you could write what the error message is I could possibly help you resolve the BCM problem you're having, thereby making it easier for you to view the data on the SQL database files.

SOURCE: AVG Free install fails

The reason you couldn't install AVG 8 with XP and Service Pack 1 is because the system requirements for AVG 8 are that Win XP have Service 2 or higher. Install the Windows Service Pack 2 or 3 and you should find that it works okay then. I've done over 100 Win XP installs of AVG 8 now and only have two that are failing (after having AVG 7.5 working fine on them - both getting "action failed for file avgssie.dll : file registration" and am chasing this up with AVG now.

SOURCE: NEFF washer not starting. error code 3/flashing anti-crease butto

This may be a simple control fault that can be reset by unplugging for 5 minutes or switching the breaker switch off for five minutes also. if the five minute reset doesn't restore the machine to its original operational value, you will then need to replace the main control board in this unit. it has failed.

SOURCE: I dropped my Sony & gets I/O Error status 0x000000e9

Well if you call the manufacturer of this laptop or Microsoft they will identify what that error code means so you know what to fix but don't know whether you'll be able to fix it by yourself.

Hope this information helps you!

Testimonial: "thanks though i tried to call them but microsoft as well as sony take ages to answer my call, per min my call is charged 33 cents. so i dropped callin"

An error code is coming on the screen for my EDH3284PDW heatpump clothes dryer and the dryer will not start which ever programme is selected.

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001745/

Replace the moisture sensor bar if damage is found. Check and or Repair = Remove power to the dryer for 10 minutes to try and reset the control board. If the error code comes back after restoring the power to your dryer then replace the electronic control board. Check and or Repair = Remove power to the dryer.

I ran the dryer without the lint screen inserted. The load was baby clothes. There was a loud thump and the dryer stopped. One sock was found in the side yard under the vent. The drum won't start...

U have some piece of clothing jamming up the works. Unless you find it and remove it yourself you are looking at a nice expensive repair since the guy is not gonna come out to help you on the cheap.

U have learned a lesson the hard way but one that you will surely never forget! LINT SCREEN MUST BE IN PLACE.

Error C4 or CA

Turn off the heatpump. Start it again when temperature gets hotter than -20c.... Error C4 or CA (overheated compressor) often strikes after C2 error (and this error you often get when temp is belov -25c)
I had the same error myself, temperature was below -27. I turned the heatpump OFF. Turned it on again when temp was at -8c. No errors in display, and runs great! :-)

My clothes are getting caught in my dryer.

I am having this same problem with my GE dryer. I found a post on fixitnow.com from a guy that has repaired these for years. He says it is the rear drum bearing. Looks like a pretty easy fix, I am going to try to do it myself. If you try this, I have also read that you should spend the extra $10 to go ahead and replace the drums front felt glide kit.

Good Luck!
