What does the element look like is it rond or a small sq. At the back righthand corner

ours did the same thing and it was caused by lint build up in the track where the screen goes into. It was tough to vacuum out but I made a thin hose that would reach down to the bottom and scrape and vacuum out the hardened lint.

Hi, My Samsung dryer 8KG (SDC3K801) is not turning off after completed the cycle time. The panel showing end but the drum still running. If I choose Synthetics extra dry with auto cycle time 49, when the timer at 6, the display increased again to 25. It's seem the dryer is not stopping forever. Any suggestion please!. Thanks

I'd investigate a possibly bad starting capacitor for the motor.

Registers temperature.

unplug the A/C line cord and wait 1 minute. Then plug it in again. If, the problem continues, your washer needs a new control board.

Check fuse/circuit breaker. Check outlet voltage.

You can get them from any electrical appliance shop.

Remove the screws on top panel in the back. Take top off. Then remove screws on inside of front panel. Release the belt from the tensioner. Now lift up on the drum and pull forward. Now you should have access.

Dryer thermister is open. Thermister Open. Thermisters will change in resistance with temperature changes. The control relies on reading from this thermister so it can make a determination of whether or not to turn the heat on. If it is open then the control don't know what the air temp is inside the dryer and therefore it shuts down and declares an error. The thermister is mounted on the blower where it gets the air coming out of the drum on the way out the back. The fuse is right next to it. I bet you would like a service manual wouldn't you?
