If you cannont manually turn off the sub or turn down the bass your best bet would be just to disconnect it when you don't want to use it. Good luck!

SOURCE: subwoofers?

You can customize your subwoofers to fit anywhere in a vehicle but the science to getting your subwoofers to do its job is in the box. If you are trying to save space, theres plenty of boxes customized to get that science in your car and save you space. Or rid the idea of having a box and installing some updated 6x9's that'll do the job for ya at saving space and giving you the bass effect you want to hear as well..

good luck!

I have panasonic SB-WA54 with it subwoofers without dvd, can I use any panasonic dvd to support it ?

Hello Wireko, you can connect any DVD player, which has output for SubWoofer, but you will only hear the bass, through the subwoofer, you would have to connect it to a 5.1 or 6.1 amplifier with their respective speakers, of the brand you want to be able to appreciate the other frequency ranges
hope you have served my suggestion
greetings Franco Dosil

We had an electrical storm and our bose lifestyle subwoofer stopped working. The rest of the speakers in the system make a clicking noise when the system is turned on. Is there a way to fix this?

No, just connect the hdmi cable from the DVD to the TV and you will have volume on the TV.
The Bose lifestyle system may be ruined, try putting the DVD input into another connection CD Etc. if that doesn't work you'll have to replace the lifestyle component the subwoofer and speakers amy be good and can be re-used or sold. Check ebay sometimes people sell the just the lifestyle without speakers saving you some money.

Connecting four speakers(, left right front, and left right rear)t and a 50 watt subwoofer to a pioneer avh-p4000dvd without using an amp.

This has four outputs with about 22 watts RMS and four pre- amp outputs. So if you need to get the 5.1 effect an amplifier is needed to be connected so as to get the center ampflier and the subwoofer activated from the preamp outputs.
The amplifer on the DVD can be used for surround effect - rear speakers - as the front can be powered by the amplifier.

My subwoofer stop working

I have a Sony 46" LCD TV. I have a Direct TV HD converter box, a Sony Blu-Ray BDP-S360 Blu-Ray player, and a Pioneer DVD-Audio player connected to my Pioneer Elite Home Theater receiver. I have my Pioneer DVD-A player connected via Fiber-Optic cable. When i play a DVD or a DVD-A on my Pioneer DVD-A player, all of my speakers work fine, but when i play a dvd on my blu-ray player, all the speakers work except my subwoofer. How can I fix this problem?
