SOURCE: Kenmore Serios 80 Gas Dryer - Replacing Gas Valve Coils

I haven't done coils in a while, You will need to remove the top and front panel to access the coils. The top should have catches that allow you to grasp the top by the back corners and pull forward slightly releasing the catch for left an right sides, other will have to have the top console removed to reveal 3 hex screw to pull the top off. Once done get a 5/16 and remove two hex screws left and right on the inside edges holding the front on, also unplug the harness to the door switch, by now the machine should be unplugged. the coils have a flange over them held on by some phillip screws. the orifice is preset so dont mess with adjustments, they should pop out and pop in

SOURCE: Kenmore gas dryer no heat

The thermal fuse is easy to test. Just check continuity using a multimeter or ohmmeter. A lack of continuity means a blown thermal fuse.
The coils are difficult to test. You can use a multimeter or ohmmeter and check for continuity, but the problem is that a coil may be sticking open only after heating up, so you can see the difficulty this would present. If a coil is suspected of being faulty, it is best to replace both (all) at the same time. These coils are what permit the gas valves to open and they can cause a no light or a cycling condition. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Can I get a list of error messages for an ASKO TL751 clothes dryer?

I googled: Asko TL751 Electric Dryer Error code HI
You may find a manual in this search that gives you the code
If I had to guess it means the high heat is not working, or the high
temperature protection has opened to protect the dryer from
self distruction.
Your owner's manual should give the error codes.
No manual? manualslib.com may have it. YOu may want it next time anyway.

Asko dryers as model T760 or T780 indicate failure by error message (like "Overflow", "Sensor", "Thermistor", ...) while the model TL751 indicate failure by error code ("H1", "H2", ...)

Below you can see a list of error codes:

H1 error - Humidity sensor error

Heater disconnection check and H4/H6 error (ELECTRIC TYPE)

H7 Error - Gas Valve Defect or Gas Blocked-off (Gas Type)
H8 Error - Igniter Defect or Flame Detector Short (Gas Type)

Dryer makes a grinding sound when stopping

I would try to listen to where the noise and smoke is coming from and get back. look here for some likely parts

Maybe the front bearing or rear bearing.
