Hi Dennis, The sony bravo remote will only work with that television, You'll need either the same remote that stopped for your Audiosonic set top box or a universal remote........CHEERS..

Unfortunately, you can't reach the CC (Caption Vision) sub menu without a remote control. You need to find another RM-Y121 remote or a Universal remote that supports the Menu feature of the original remote. (Some universal remotes do not include a Menu button. Avoid those cheaper models. You may have to search all Sony TV codes to get the needed button to work.)

A replacement original remote is available from EMT Company at http://www.emtcompany.com/sony-rm-y121-remote-control/101317789.html . The remote costs ~$12. Amazon has a vendor with a used version of the remote.

Unfortunately your Sony remote doesn't have any codes for Motorola cable boxes. Click on the link below to check which devices your remote will operate:

Try using the code search function as detailed in your user manual. If you can't find your user manual, it can also be downloaded from the link I provided. Occasionally codes for a different brand will work - not often, but it's worth a try.

You may wish to clear the remote's memory before starting. Slide the top left switch to "Learn." Press ANY button on the remote, do not worry if the indicator light flashes. Press the "Program Clear" button. The indicator should flash 4 (maybe 5?) times. You are now ready to program. Make sure the switch is in the "Learn" position. Place the rm-p311 and the remote you want to program in about 2 cm apart facing each other. Push the button you wish to program on the rm-p311. The indicator light should come on with a slight delay. Press and hold the button on the other remote until the indicator light goes out. Put the slider back to "User" mode and test it! For more info., go to sony's support site and search for the user manual for the STR-AV1070 receiver. It contains instructions for the remote.

ok i was looking over your manual for your specific tv it doesnt show that you can program this particular remote for the product listed
my suggestion is go out and by the fancy universal remote since you have the better quality tv universal remotes have a better way of programing everything together
