E31 Error Code on Frigidaire Gallery 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Range. I got this and checked the oven probe and the line reading was correct. It still beeps.

Got E21 and replaced the UIB and the controller. Thought it was all OK but after an hour of the stovetop working, it went back to E31. What's going on? I need this unit to work in our cafe!

The F31 error code means that the control board detects the oven temperature probe circuit is shorted. If the sensor tests good, then you could have a bad control board or a short in the wiring.

As the control board has been replaced because the sensor tested out as good, then there must be a short in the wiring. I'll check that out again. Thanks. I'll let you know.

SOURCE: Unlocking Oven controls

According to the manufacturer's website you should only need to Press and hold the "Lock" key for 5 seconds. A single tone will sound and the "Loc" will disappear off the display.

Probably a bad door lock solenoid. That is some kind of door lock problem. Trouble is they are not all the same. This training manual shows locations of model number. Perhaps if you post that I might can come up with a tech sheet and you would get a better answer. see page 4

Hi michell51238 - From what you are describing it sounds like the range may possibly have a faulty light switch or wiring failure that only a professional can repair. I personally recommend consulting a certified technician for a proper diagnosis and to move forward accurately.

    /lfgf3014lbcwhat does f31 mean

Hello Jim, thanks for your post!

From my understanding your Frigidaire range, LFGF3014LBC, is displaying an error code of "F31". The "F31" error code stands for a shorted probe connection which could be an issue with your EOC (Electronic Oven Control), wiring harness, or RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector). I would suggest performing a reset on your range to help clear out any false error codes. You can reset your range by flipping off the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. I hope this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt

    Flashing fault code F13

Check your oven sensor is what I would do. See if it reads 1100 ohms at room temp. If it is open or shorted it is bad.

F3 beeping in self cleaning mode

Hello Jane, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

If you are getting an error code F3, it is commonly referred to a faulty sensor probe or a wiring harness between the sensor probe and EOC (electronic oven control). You may try and reset your range by disconnecting the power or by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on after 10 minutes. This often clears most false error code. If the error code does not clear, most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing. I am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its normal operating condition. You can often locate a qualified service technician on the manufacturer website.

You have a shorted probe connection. Check resistance at roomtemperature, if less than 500 ohms, replace RTD sensor probe. Check for shortedsensor probe harness between EOC and probe connector.
