The Kenwood KR-V8070 has no digital audio inputs; it only has analog inputs. You can see the manual's diagram of the rear input/outputs starting on page 4 at ManualsLib: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/287040/Kenwood-Kr-V8070.html?page=4#manual . If you need to connect a device that doesn't have an analog audio output, you will need an analog to digital audio converter. This is one version: https://www.amazon.com/SANOXY-Analog-Digital-Converter-Adapter/dp/B005F20756 . You will need to supply all of the audio cables separately.

The later KRF-V8070D does have coaxial and optical digital audio inputs. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: no signal when hooked up with a digital cable box

I had the same problem and had the cable guy out and everything thinking it was my box. I figured it out by myself here is what i did to fix it. I have the vizio 32 inch hooked to an hdmi cable and through the cable box i had the aspect ratio on 1080i and i should have had it on 720p once I switched it I havent had the problem since.

SOURCE: I have a new Samsung 47 in LCD and Kenwood DVD

Without additional equipment it can't be done. As i see your VR-606 pure analog device, and you trying to somehow use 5.1 sound from HD STB that is on HDMI put on RCA connectors of your VR-606. It is impossible without converter from HDMI to Analog audio or something likethis, best way to buy new receiver with HDMI input and TV neither Receiver with HDMI out oportunity. Then you will have your home cinema. In your current setup probably you can play only with stereo from your stb.

How do i hook a Technics 7 band Equalizer to a Kenwood KR-710 Stereo receiver? The EQ model # SH-8029.

Hi James Kohler, to connect the EQ SH-8029 to the Kenwood KR-710, you must have two cables from 2 RCA to 2 RCA
One connects it to the EQ Line In (Line In) and on the other hand you connect it to the REC output of Tape1 in the Kenwood, the other cable goes from the Line Out of the EQ to the entrance Tape1 PLAY at Kenwood
In order to hear the equalized sound, you must select the Source, example; Radio CD, Phono and you must enable Tape 1
If you had used Tape 1 connections, you can use Tape 2 and if you have used both of Tape, you can do what you indicated first and what was in Tape 1 connect it to the Tape entrance, which brings the EQ
I hope you can connect it
Greetings Franco Dosil

Can the Kenwood KR-4600 connect to an ipod?

Hi,yes you can connect Kenwood KR-4600 to an ipod.

Instruction..

You will need an coolken_9.jpgRCA cable .

Connect the RCA (red and black to the input of the Kenwood KR-4600...You have options of inputs to use..

Either input at the back of the Kenwood KR-4600,or tape A and tape B..which ever you wan to use..

After connecting the red and black RCA to Kenwood KR-4600, then connect the other jack end to the ipod, and go the front of the Kenwood KR-4600 to activate the input selection knob to the desired input being selected at the back of the Kenwood KR-4600..

And don't forget to turn on the volume of the Kenwood KR-4600 and also the iPod volume..

And after that your done..

Good luck to you..

Where on the Kenwood KR-V5580 do I connect a sub woofer

Wherever the unidentified subwoofer's manual recommends. As there are no volume-controlled pre-amp outputs it would have to be a model that accepts full-range speaker level input if you want to control its volume locally.

How do I hook up my HD TV to the kenwood kr-v7080 so I can hear stereo TV ?

Maybe hook up the actual source of the TV audio (not necessarily the TV) directly to the Kenwood. Cable and SAT boxes have nice standard digital audio outputs. They're wasted on TV's which typically have sucko speakers. Lower-end analog audio is also available if you want to watch Cable/SAT throught the TV speakers.

My kenwood kr v1074 reciever doesnt seem to do the job of my other reciever.....my sub is connected threw the red and black ports tried em all and my speaker just remains low volume even if i have it full...

You shouldn't hook things up and guess how they work.

BTW "KRV1074" doesn't bring up a valid link anywhere in the universe except your request.
