How to reset your Microsoft Account (MSA) password.
If you forgot your MSA password or you tried to many times, your account will become blocked for security reasons.
To unlock it , go to Microsoft account and choose the first option I've forgotten my password, follow the instructions on screen.
If you no longer have access to your security info choose I don't have any of these. Windows 8 when configured usually uses a microsoft account. When it asks for your password, what does it say your login name is?
If there is a login account such as [email protected] then you use a microsoft login account.

If it simply says "Robleh" then you will be using a local account. Here are some suggestions on how to reset your password in windows 8 for each situation:

If it is Windows admin password the one you forgot, and you have another account on your laptop that has administrator rights, log in into that account and change the password for your account. Also try putting in Administrator and leave password field blank, otherwise try one of the following:
